Took my 13 mos twins for a weekend getaway. Expected to have a nice stay in Boston--nothing special. Well, for the moment we arrived, we were treated like ROCKSTARS. From the bellman, to the front desk staff to housekeeping, EVERYONE was superlative. I expected the Westin woul dbe anice stay but had no idea how top notch it would be. One of the best hotel stays I have ever had. One of hte bellman even told me where a local playground was for my kids and how to get in as a local!

Excellent location and value. Entry and exit was difficult. Excellent location near public transport, shopping, downtown and entertainment.

Hotel was in a good central location for our stay in Boston, just one block off the subway which we used a lot. Two minor problems with the room cleaning staff that were remedied quickly and they comped us a breakfast for the trouble. Location was good, price was right and a relatively trouble free stay. I have to rate our stay as a three because of the over sites of the room cleaning staff.

After visiting this property recently, I agree with many of the posts that the rooms were a bit dates (especially for a Westin). That said, the location of the hotel is wonderful and the conceirge staff extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They suggested a great breakfast spot within reasonable walking distance (Charlies)....My overall review would have been all greats except for the weathered appearance of the rooms (carpet, bed spread, bathroom, etc.)

This hotel was great. It is located in the heart of everything. It is nice to be able to walk right down to the lobby and into the Mall that spans all the way to Boylston street. They also let us check in at 10:30am. The only complaint was a shower that did not drain properly.

Great location. Restaurant choices were very expensive. Restaurants not kid-friendly. Overall, very good experience. We were told that it would be $60 to upgrade to a better room, but the room we had was very spacious - except the bathroom - which was very small for a 4-star hotel. Floor could have been cleaner.

Large, clean rooms. Check-in a breeze. The only negative was the price for the breakfast buffet. $90-for 3 people...

It was the perfect location with a connecting indoor entrance to Copley Mall, the Marriot and Sheraton. It is directlly across the street from the hop on / off trolley. The concierge got us the trolley tickets. Convenient to everything. We will stay there again without a doubt.

I was anxious about the safety.Reception is on the 2nd.floor ,so nobody controls the hotel entrance, everyone can go up to the rooms.Rooms have locks ,but this is not enough.Hotel entrance should be controlled in someway. Secondly,we had dinner in Sushi restaurant in the hotel. We are real sushi lovers but this was awful. We couldn't eat any of our orders and the waitress was not nice at all.

Location is excellent for visiting Boston's key sights. Use of thick plastic carry out boxes for food. Overall, we loved the hotel. Both location and service are excellent. Rooms are very nice, with great views of the city and the river. The beds really are heavenly!

When we arrived our room was ready for us. The front desk clerk asked if we prefered a low or high floor and as he promised gave us a room with river views. The concierges were very helpful (my wife always has a lot or questions). We travled with our Granddaughter and we were surprised by the Kid's Club. She carried the back pack everywhere. There was no argument when we requested a check out extensioin. We would have had break fast in the hotel but the prices were out of sight. We had breakfasts at small restaurants in the neighborhood.

It was our first time in Boston, and even afer reading the reviews for this hotel on the Internet, I wasn't sure how close we would be from the main streets and shops. It was just the perfect location, with an overpass from the hotel to the Copley Place Mall and the Prudential Center where you will find restaurants and plenty of upscale stores. There is also a big supermarket, Shaws, across the street from the hotel. The hotel is very nice. We didn't have a chance to explore the hotel in details, but overall it was very clean, and the heavenly bed was the best thing at night after walking so much all around town. They gave us a room on the 21 floor, and the view of the city was worth the stay. Food is very expensive in Boston, especially in the hotel. If you don't want to pay a high price for breakfast, there is an Au Bon Pain in the Copley Place Mall downstairs. I think we payed a fair price for this hotel through the travel agent. I woud definitely stay at this hotel again. If you don't want to spend money on taxi, the subway is pretty good. The closest stations to the Westin Copley Place hotel are Copley and Back Bay.

Very nice hotel in a perfect location. Very nice lobby. Everything was fine except its a big hotel, and the elevators stopped on many floors on the way down.

Leave the car home!! */day to valet the car is a little outrageous... Other than that it was a fantastic trip. A short walk to G2O by Guilianno day spa... Where we pampered ourselves for our 5th anniversary...

Great location across from the historic Trinity Church. 1 block form the T(subway) which can take you anywhere you need to go. We stayed 5 nights and the room was noisy most mornings with people leaving and cleaning personel banging around. I mentioned it to the manager and she comped my taxi to the airport. Service was good, concierge was great! Overall stay was above average but not great.

The hotel was great in every way, except that the room was very tired and needed renovation.

Just the place we hoped for after a long day of walking. The beds were so nice and soft, I hated to leave for dinner. Lots to do, see and walk to. Convenient to get to airport also. A wonderful oasis.
