I would recommend this hotel, especially for the price and ambiance. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very, very, courteous. I felt like I was a valued customer. I would definitely would recommend the hotel to anyone. I got this on a great last minute vacation deal and I didn't have any problems with check-in and the 2 double bed room that I requested. The only thing I didn't like was that the bathroom didn't have adequate ventilation, so it got very steamy in there and the room service prices were extremely high, so we went out to eat.

Hotel was convenient, pleasant to stay in. I did not eat at the restaurant because I just wanted a sandwich and not a heavy dinner in the evening or for lunch. Other than that, it was great. I asked for a 5:30 a.m. wake up call and was called at 5:45 a.m. Good thing I set up the alarm on the radio.

It was at one point a Wyndham. Not as nice as you would think a Westin would be. Room was nice.

I stayed at the Westin for 2 nights. The room was clean. That is about all I can say on the plus side. On the second night, they had problems with the internet connection. I had important work to do and had to leave the hotel to find a place to connect. I called guest services and they said they were having problems. These problems were still not resolved the next morning.

Went to DC for a job interview back in December and stayed at the Westin as part of a Travelocity package. Very helpful staff who set me up on the Starwood Preferred Guest floor (top floor) since I was a SPG member. A small walk to the nearest Metro, and it could be a cold trek in the winter. Overall, a nice hotel, nicely renovated but one can tell that it was a older hotel.Breakfast buffet was of good quality, though a bit pricey (wasn't a problem because I expensed it).Good stay for the business traveller. Will stay again if I get another job interview in DC metro!

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Westin DC City Center. The staff was wonderful and made us feel right at home. The beds were comfortable and the room clean. I will definitely be staying at this hotel the next time we travel to DC.

Room was nice but no plastic liners were in trash cans or provided for ice bucket. Water was available for $5.00 charge was missing, but to the hotel's credit they did not charge after finally (2nd trip to front desk) notating on account. I've had better service at Holiday Inns and the internet was free.

The T.V. and the safe did not work, also there was left over food in fridge. When we reported this to the front desk, we were given a new room immediately. Everything was in working order and a clean stocked fridge in the new room.

The Westin in Washington DC is an exquisite hotel, one that it would love to return to and stay a little longer. The staff was very polite and willing to assist in whatever capacity we needed.

When we came back to the room, the evening after the first night, our room keys would not open the door. I went to the front desk to see why and after some time and having to talk to two desk clerks was told that our keys had been demagnetized by something. When we were given the new keys we found that the room had not been serviced either.

2 things make me actually hate the Westin. First, I took the elevator to what I believed was my car's level - P3. When I got off I was trapped in the parking garage. You need a key to escape! It took me 45 minutes to break out of the emergency exit. It was a horrible experience. I am afraid children could experience the same thing. The hotel is unsafe. Secondly, I couldn't sleep after the experience and I went to the hotel lobby to read a book rather than turn on a light in my room and wake my wife. The security guard came and made me move from the couch I was sitting on! He claimed a conference was starting (it was 5:45AM) and that I couldn't sit there and I had to sit in noisy lobby and read with the television blaring. It was completely ridiculous - you had to be there to experience it. This Westin is unsafe and the personnel are rude, in my opinion.

The Westin was a great place to stay while in D.C. Very clean, comfortable spaces, nice television and comfortable beds. From valet to porter, front desk to maid and dining room staff, we were very pleased.

The hotel exceeded our expectations, however I was shocked to find out parking was not included in the room. As a guest I had to pay $35 per night and had to park in the garage next door to the hotel. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

Very nice hotel. I've stayed in this hotel before. There was a great deal of confusion at check-in because I was a day late in arriving (car problems). I called them when I had the problem, but still the check-in process did not go smoothly when I arrived. It was finally all straightened out and things were all good after that.

Location is not bad (10~15 min to Subway Station). Wonderful interior. But, a person in the information desk was somehow rude. I felt very unpleasant. Overall very good.
