From beginning to end this was a great experience. Got a great rate and we were upgraded to Starwood Preferred Floor (we are members). My adult children and myself and a friend stayed downtown as we had a long day at Comerica Park (doubleheader with the Sox). Front desk check-in was quick and gracious, the rooms were large, spotless and very classy. Beds were comfy and the guys loved the TV (42 " flat screen). Location was great, walked to and from the park and out on the town after the night game- no issues. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't speak to that. After we checked out we discovered that we had left a few clothing items behind. No problem, housekeeping had found them and lost and found had them. We picked them up when we were back in Detroit for the next game. My daughter's boyfriend asked her why her mom had picked such a NICE hotel and my friend can't wait to return for a night in Detroit with husband and friends. Needless to say we were all more than impressed and will be planning a return trip.

Like every Westin I've stayed at, friendly staff. Parking at $25/day is a bit steep.

The location was perfect. All the interior rooms including mine did not have a view.

Decor and bed were both very nice. Location was slightly away from the active part of town. Decor very nicely done. Bed very comfortable. A light in the room was out. Work desk very big and comfortable. Did not care for the $25 parking fee and the $10 internet usage charge. Room was large and the hotel was quiet.

Bathroom nice and spacious - good shower heads. No bath soap bar - just skinny face bar, and no bath gel. Great hotel. 1st level markings could be better for lobby and street directions.

Very modern looking, nice decor. The maid service may have been confused with cleaning our room one day. Awesome. Will stay in it again.

Very nice upscale hotel in a great location. The hotel was in a great location, close to the people mover and it was a very upscale hotel at a very affordable price thanks to Priceline.

The service of our porter, Sylvester, was outstanding as was the food he recommended at Roast. We were very impressed with all aspects of our stay.

Upscale furnishings, sleek decor, friendly staff. The parking is pricey, but all downtown parking. This hotel is a wonderful Westin property, but if you're looking for variety, it's pretty much the same as other Westins.

Rooms and building were very clean. No smoking hotel is a plus. The gap under the doors was very large allowing a significant amount or light and noise.

Great location, great hotel. Nothing. Beautiful spacious rooms, nice restaurants on site, and great staff.

This hotel was awesome, the staff was very friendly. The bar ran out of certain drink mixes. I was very disappointed in the hotel with the fact that we came back from dinner and our door card would not work. Went to the desk, they reprogrammed it and brought the master card up there but neither worked. Apparently, the battery in the door was dead. A fine hotel like this you would think they would have a back up system if something like this happens. After an hour, someone in my room finally woke up, if not for that I would have had to stay in another room.

The decor was so nice! I liked the spa theme of the hotel. The front desk on the second floor. We couldn't find it! This hotel totally exceeded my expectations. The rooms are nice, the bar's bartenders were nice and friendly, and the food in the restaurant was great!
