Extremely slow check in process. We reserved a room in the new towers, but got a room in the old dilapidated section, that had scarce parking. When we got into the room we found it to be dirty, infested with ants, and traces of roaches. We called and the exterminator came right away, but left puddles of insecticide and dead insects for us to clean up. Beds were hard as a rock, remotes contol the tv but not the DVD player so you had to get up to pause, play, ect. Hot water was in short supply. You felt as if you were staying in the projects and were afraid to go to the pool by the looks of all the thuggish kids hanging around and the clear sound of bass music deep into the night. We called our personal concierge, but got no results, because she turned out to be a sales person, who with the help of her two manager cohorts, tried to bullly us into buying. The one great thing about this place was leaving! If you're really considering buying into a vacation package, try Disney. We did and were very happy. Great system, that you can use to travel anywhere in the world, and no pressure to buy.

We drove from Sarasota FL and did late checked-in for catching our next day early flight from Orlando International Airport. It was quite a surprise that the hotel environment and facilities are so well-organized. We enjoyed our short/comfortable stay and we will for sure come back to this hotel again soon.

A time share resort where we attended a 90 minutes presentation of the villas they had for sale. The sales staff was very pushy and didn't want to take "no" for an answer. The location was great for the price. We only used our villa at the end of the night for sleeping after a long day at the Disney parks which only took approximately 10 minutes to get to from the resort. However, at the end of the day we came to a room that had not been serviced and the only service we got was fresh towels that were left inside a plastic bag sitting on the kitchen table. Room service was poor. Will definitely consider other options for future travel to the Kissimmee area.

The rooms were nice and our room service guy named [...] was fantastic! The same cannot be said for the employees who checked us in because they had horrible personalities and were some of the worst customer service people I have ever been in contact with in my life. Also the check in policy is horrible at this place because the way they put it is that check in starts at 3pm and there is no guarantee when your room will be available after that point. They do not even attempt to start getting rooms until 3pm and people who had been there since 10 that morning sat in the loby waiting on there room until after 6. I pushed a little and got my room at 5 but I will never stay there again because the trouble to get your room is not worth it!

The room had ants that had to be sprayed for twice during our stay. We had a ground floor room, but you could hear everything from the corridore and every time the next room over opened & shut thier door it echoed in our room. Staff emptied trash and replaced towels everyday, but no general sweeping was done. Many late nights & early mornings due to the noisy room. Shower head had to be replaced while we were there too, no water pressure.

We stayed at westgate for 3 nights. No hotel staff came to our room to change sheets at all. Internet was slow and disconnect many times so I had to wait til the morning to call technical support. The internet was fixed the day after. On the last night there, someone locked the door from the inside (key card didn't work in this case) and we had to run back and forth between front desk and our room in order to get the door open. Front desk was very helpful though.

My family and I enjoyed out stay very much. We went to Florida for the Disney College Soccer Showcase Tournament for the second year in a row. Our experience this year was so much better than last. Last year my then 16 year old daughter and I were miserable at the hotel we were assigned to by the tournament. This year I decided not to stay with her soccer team and make our own arrangements. This trip I brought my now 17 year old daughter, 11 yr old son, and 10 year old daughter and we all had a great time.We stayed in our own little section of Westgate Town Center and didn't really explore all the pools and different things they have to offer. My two younger kids were happy with the pool, putt-put course and paddle boats right outside our balcony that we didn't bother exploring the rest of Westgate.Our experience was very clean, very friendly, and very affordably. Go and experience it....you will enjoy.

The facilities was very nice but I fell that they should do some other things to improve a comfortable stay for thier guest. While checking in there only two clerks available checking in thier guest which took some time I would like to say that i checked out early because the bed was uncomfortable it was causing me to have excruciating pain on my back. Another thing that happened to me which was my fault I left a leather jacket in the room and when i called the lost and found dept they claimed that no one saw it or turned it in and then they said they would send security to the room that i was in to check for my jacket. They callem me back in 30 minutes stating that security could not go into the room because the room was already rented out so i lost a Leather Jacket that i will have to replace.

This was a birthday trip to Seaworld. We couldn't have picked a better place. It has a great location convenient to everything you will need (gift shops, reasturants, walmart/walgreens, fast food, etc) They offered movies in the theater, pools, paddle boats, etc. The staff was the best you were always greeted when entering the lobby and acknowledged when they saw you around the premises. I don't have anything bad to say about this location. I WILL STAY HERE EVERY CHANCE I GET!!!

It was a very comfortable room, great location close to parks. I would stay again, but not attend the attempt to complete a time share sale pitch. Believe me they tried. I would stay again.

There is a distinct difference between a resort and a hotel. Vacation Villas is a RESORT. The property is huge and has countless activities for the kids including dinosaur mini-golf which we thought was extra cute. We also loved that the resort is less than 10 miles from Disney and the other parks. Our kids love that there is a Pizza Hut on site. Overall, it was great and we plan to go back.

The Westgate Town Center had all the amenities you could possibly think of! They have grea floor plans with jacuzzi tubs. I highly recommend Westgate Town Center if you are looking to stay in Orlando.

the room was very comfortable and clean. the check in and out was a nightmare...long lines, wrong room key (there was someone already in our room) room key didn't work to second room, so a long walk back to the front desk to change again and very annoying cleaning lady knocked several times, then came in through ajoining room door while we were still asleep. close to disney.

My husband is in the military and I wanted to take our daughter on a little trip to Orlando to visit a few of the parks to take her mind off of him being away. The hotel location was wonderful. It was located in short distance to all the major parks and to alot of the major eateries. The only thing that I didn't like that much was;the fact that with short stays(week-ends)they don't give you housekeeping services. We did have them come in one day out of four. We had a chance to stay at another resort this past spring break 2009 and the accommadations were horroible. This stay was hands down a cut above the rest.

My stay at the West Gate Towers Resort was not a pleasant one. My experience was not ejnoyable from the second I stepped in through the gate. I asked the security guard to direct me in the right direction and he sent me to the wrong check in office. I had been in line for 40 minutes and the clerk told me I was at the wrong location for check in. I walked over to another building and stood in line again. It took 3 people to finally get me checked in after I waited in line again for 30 minutes, this being at 10pm. The first front desk clerck called me up and handed my information to another man who was on the telephone in a personal phone call. After a few minutes a 3rd person jumped n to enter my info in the computer and she then proceeded to call the person behind me up without finishing with me and handed my transaction back to the man on the personal phone call. Nothing was explained to me, I had to ask a 4th person how to get to my building/room and where to park. Room service was non existant and we stayed for 2 nights. I am not happy at all and for the price I payed I could have stayed at a much better place with higher quality and much better customer service.

Liked our room better last trip ..the family next door were door slammers. The a/c was not working properly but allin all it was still a nice visit.
