Weekend stay at Westfield Hall Hotel, PortsmouthBooked room last minute as many of the hotels were full in Portsmouth so didn't really know what to expect. Not so close to the centre of city, but only 10 minutes by car. However, we were delighted with our Deluxe room. It was at the front of the hotel and had a double aspect. Very clean and comfortable and surprisingly spacious and airy. Not much parking space though.Breakfast was included and was filling and the waitress was friendly and helpful.I have no problem recommending this hotel and we will definitely go back to stay, when we come down to Portsmouth again.

Westfield Hall Hotel 3* Hotel AA Assessed THIS RAC MEMBER would give it 5*Beautifully situated: easy access by road; near the sea; lovely owners/staff in friendly serene oasis. Could not have asked for more. Quality of food - superb, cleanliness/godliness. Totally wonderful

Lovely hotel with great customer service. The room was a little small and the water pressure was a little low, but maybe that was because we where on the top floor. Otherwise a pleasent stay.

More of a large guest house than a hotelLimited parking outside, but if lucky to find a space can park on the street. Good location for my personal needs. 10 minutes from where I needed to be. A short (and I do mean short) stroll to the waterfront. very quiet location. Staff friendly. My room was a double and very clean, tidy and comfortable although the ensuite was a little small. Had a quick look around the facilities and all the public rooms were very clean, neat and nicely furnished and seemed to be a comfotable atmosphere. Was given a key to let myself late at night which was very convenient. Can't stand pressing a bell and waiting for the night porter like you do in some hotels. Downside was price £78 for the night. I've stayed in late booking discounted suites in 4 star hotels for that money. Overall though a pleasant, friendly, clean and comfortable place in a very good location close to sea and restaurants and night life.

Compact but ComfortableI stayed here with my girlfriend on an overnight trip to Soutsea for a family birthday. As we did not spend too much time in the room, it was exactly what was required. The room itself was fairly compact but had everything we needed including a flat screen TV and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom could do with some updating but everything worked sufficiently well.

A pleasant stayFriendly welcome, followed by helpfull knowledge of the local area. Comfortable room with all the necessities. Food is of a decent quality and price. If you haven't already planned to dine out I would recommend the restaurant. On the whole a friendly family run hotel. The wife and I would stay again if we were back in the area.
