| It’s a very bad place and not safe at all it’s the cheapest yes but in the end you will lose more than you pay more money in a good one
I will never go back there any more and if you have to go I think that you have to take your bags with you if you will go out from the room even for one min |

| the hotel is VERY basic, you should not expect much. I was especially concerned about cleanliness, but i was happy to find out that the bathrooms were always clean in the 3 days i spent there. Considering the prices for accommodation in NYC, it is was a good deal. |

| when I got to the hostel they didn't have my reservation on file and they were completely booked for the 36 bed dorm I had paid for. I showed them my receipt for payment and the man did everything he could to get me a bed. I ended up an a 4 bed private for no extra cost. Compared to hostels in Europe it was pretty good. I will be back. |

| I checked into the West Side Inn a bit nervous but after checking in, my impressions changed, The staff was welcoming and friendly, the rooms yet worn were very clean and comfortable. for the rate it was the best deal in town. Besides how much time do you spend in your room, this is the city that never sleeps |

| I found the hostel very attractive and pleasant. The neighborhood is quite nice, with the subway just a few blocks away. |

| Lets be honest. NYC is super expensive, and this Hotel offers a reasonable price compared to some MUCH better hotels in the city. It is ok if you are on a budget. Bathrooms are shared, the elevator light did not work for the majority of our stay, and it is a very old building...friendly staff (most of them), you need to let them know if you want your room to be cleaned before 11 am. Overall, if you don't want to spend too much money, you have an option... |
