The West End Hostel offers fantastic value budget and backpacking accommodation, in a great Edinburgh location. The hostel has a number of shared dormitory style rooms of between 6 and 16 beds and three private rooms (sleeping 3 to 5). The hostel has undergone some significant upgrading in 2009 with a new larger kitchen installed along with an overhaul of the shower-rooms and all communal areas. Our lounge has free internet access and large flat screen television,pool table and surround sound dvd and music facilities to enhance your stay within the hostel. We also have a large garden area. The hostel is a great base for anyone, with its new and fresh facilities in a central location. Our staff members are on hand to help with any questions you may have about the city and can arrange and book tours for you.

Directly opposite Haymarket train station, and on one of the main routes into the city, public transport is on our doorstep - buses, trains, taxis and eventually the new Edinburgh Trams
