The West Beach Inn Santa Barbara is situated between the marina and Stearns Wharf. Guests will find themselves across the street from the yacht harbor. The botanical gardens and the zoo are also located nearby.

Very clean place, great location. This is a charming hotel right off the water and walking distance to everything. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend to anyone. This place is a good price for a nice Santa Barbara hotel. Only down side was no room service.

We loved the pool, staff, wine and cheese served each evening and, especially having the beach just across the street. The room was small, but we didn't spend much time in it anyway. I would definitely stay here again.

Employees here are not friendly. Location is awful. Has no harbor view, views are of boat launch across busy main street that is only rooms that offer any outward views. No water view at all! Not walking distance to the State streets few shops and resturants that you would want to go to, more like 8 + blocks. Other hotels with dining close by. Place is extremely over priced for what you get! Better off going to the east side!

The location is great. The hotel is a little older, so expect a little less modern room. Service was good, but the continental breakfast and wine & cheese spread was a little weak.

The West Beach Inn is right across from the beach, and convenient to some restaurants, as well. The rooms are recently decorated (only the furniture is old) and clean -- the free wireless internet was a great add-in, as was the refrigerator and coffeemaker. Many families were staying at the Inn, but my room was quiet and peaceful, even though it was on the ground floor. Staff were helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again.

I have stayed in many hotels and this was a nice one, but definitely not worth * a night. Everyone was super friendly and the pool was nice, as was the view. But the beach across the street was very dirty. Lots of trash and tar.

The rooms were nicely remodeled and clean. The building shows its age, but so do all the buildings in the area. The room was on the small side, but we would definitely stay there again in the future.

We were pleasantly surprised with the West Beach Inn! It is simiple and modest, but had great amenities, even robes and a wine and cheese tasting each evening. Unfortunately, we only had the time for one of these, we were busy with wedding activities. The free continental breakfast was nicely done every morning. The view of the marina was nice, the balcony was comfortable for winding down. If you're looking for simple, comfortable accomodations, I definitely recommend it."

I stayed 3 nights at the West Beach Inn with my wife and our 3-month old boy. We very very pleased with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the complimentary 5pm snack at the pool (which was very clean). The neighborhood is quiet and the beach just a 3-min walk away. The room was clean although the interior decoration was average motel style. The worst thing we experienced was the bed which was really uncomfortable and caused terrible lower back pain.

This hotel is small scale and located across the street from the beach. We splurged for ocean view rooms and could not have been happier with that decision. The location was convenient and walkable to town. There is a free shuttle bus from the nearby pier that takes you into town. Would highly recommend this hotel to couples and families.

West Beach Inn is well located with an electric bus @ $0.25 a trip / person running a limited distance along the lakeshore and into the main shopping area of Santa Barbara. Being more petite, the updated, modern sink was a little high. To have a well light room, all the lights had to be turned on. The staff could not have been more helpful!

The location was great; near the pier and lots of eating locations. Very centralize location. Easy walk to the beach, pier and eateries. The room was small; but very comfortable and clean. I loved that the vanity was outside the bathroom; so you could get ready while someone showered, etc. The property looked great; small pool but nice; especially the hot tub. They provide wine and cheese nightly; along with coffee and tea. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They provide maps and suggestions for fun stuff, etc.

This hotel is conveniently located right across from the beach and walking distance to downtown. Great access to restaurants and shopping. This is also a great location for a runner - you can run up and down the coast and you are conveniently located to an amazing track. The beds are comfy and the bathroom had lots of space. They had a wonderful wine & cheese happy hour each night and the food options @ breakfast included healthy options. The pool is great too! I will return for sure!

The West Beach Inn is very good located. We had a room with a view at the harbour. Very nice. We had a big terras, the use of the internet was free, the parkingspace was free and there was breakfast included in the price and between 5 and 7 PM Wine and Cheese at the poolsite and all day long fruit. Santa Barbara is very nice and luxurous. We did pick a very nice hotel, price-quality very good. Also a coffee maker at the room and chocolates and free water. There was also a free loundry space, so you could wash your rope free.

The room was a great surprise, it was very nicely decorated, clean, and so comfortable. We have a great view of the Marina and the Ocean, Continental breakfast was offered and included fresh fruits and we also enjoyed the happy hour when they served wine and cheese. The staff was very friendly.
