Wentworth Guest HouseBeautifully clean guest house, with lovely white, fluffy towels. The breakfast was very nice as well and a very reasonable price. I wouldn't have been able to swing a cat in the room, had I wanted to, so it was a good job I didn't! Very small room, the bathroom was also small - so much so that the sink was in the room as it wouldn't fit in the bathroom. Having said that, the small single bed had beautifully laundered bedding and a chocolate mint on the pillow. All I was looking for was somewhere clean for a good night's sleep and it certainly provided that.

The Wentworth Guest House Review April 2009Hotel is in a fantastic location for the beach, crazy golf, local pubs and waterpark. To get to Paignton Pier it is around a 20 min walk. We did find it a bit tricky to find the hotel but once you do you will not be disapointed. We felt welcomed from the start and had an enjoyable stay. The room decoration may not be the most modern but it is clean and well presented. Breakfast was a good selection of continental and full english and again was made to feel at home. We would definately stay again and recommend to others.

Great place for comfort and serenity with stunning scenery ...A quality guesthouse with good hosts who make you welcome and run a safe and welcoming home from home. Beautifully decorated, well equipped rooms, cleaned daily and beverages tray stocked daily,chocolate treat on bed shows attention to detail and toiletries in bath/shower room.

Warm and friendlyOnly stayed for a night on business but the hotel was perfect. A very warm greeting, the room was well kept and clean, and wifi access for working from the room. The breakfast was excellent and more than enough even for me!

Wentworth Guest HouseI found Lyndsey at The Wentworth Guest House a very kind caring host who made me feel very welcome from the time I arrived until my day of departure.The hotel itself was spotless with beautiful ensuite rooms of the very highest standard and I certainly will be returning in the near future and highly recommend this hotel for singles or couples and families as you will find this hotel of the highest order and in my view an excellant hotel makes your holiday as you look forward to rest and unwind in cosy surroundings after a hard days activities.

Lindsay & Martin very helpful. I forgot my key but no problems when I came back in the evening without it. (It was in the bedroom door. ) The room was a small single with all facilities and verty clean and well-maintained. It was excellent value for money for a one-night business trip and the breakfast was great. I had a very pleasant walk after breakfast, through the park, which is right outside, and down to the sea-covered beach . This part of Paignton is pleasanter than the other side of Roundham Head. Would def come back- with my wife next time. It was tricky to locate but not that difficult. Could easily find it again - I think.

The breakfast was outstanding! The owners were wonderful and friendly. The only criticism that I could possibly comment on was the room - it was very small; you could barely walk in it and the bathtub was cracked on the outside, which is not good if you have young children. As well, the road to get to this hotel is so hard to find if you don't know the area - I would have never even recognised it as a road if I didn't have my satnav telling me to continue through a small opening in a wall down the side of a 'cliff.' The locals refer to it as a gentle slope, however. As well, the hotel is right beside a gorgeous park area AND a gorgeous beach area - it was fantastic!

We spent two nights at this hotel and found it to be spotlessly clean. The proprietors were very hospitable and helpful. It is very well located and we left the car behind to go to the town and the beach. We will be back.

Bit of difficulty in finding it but well worth the effort. Hostess was very friendly and welcoming despite me arriving late. Room was everything it should have been and was adequate in size for a single. Breakfast was a delight and I would definately go there again, hopefully with my wife next time.
