Outstanding B&BWensum Guest House is outstanding! I stayed here for a race meeting at Snetterton (approx 25 minutes from the B&B) and it was perfect. No en-suite in my room (although some rooms do) but a huge bathroom that I never had to queue for. Immacutely clean too! Ample parking outside, a great breakfast in the morning and friendly staff. Perfect location for exploring the city (the cathedral, castle and shopping centre(s) are within easy walking distance). Would definitely recommend!

Wensum Guest House NorwichThis is a clean and well-presented Guest house, but perhaps a little over-priced. They do not offer evening meals but breakfast was good - though they do need to save up for a faster toaster!

Wensum Guest House June 19-21 2009My Wife & I really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Guest House was easy to find and lovely to stay in. everything was spotless and upto date decor wise. Handily placed for a walk in to the city centre of approx 20 mins. Just thought the chap running it could have been a little more pleasant whilst serving breakfast. However would recommend and stay again.

Wensum ExcelsRefreshingly the Wensum delivers exactly what it promises which is clean, quality accommodation with an excellent buffet breakfast in a relaxed modern and comfortably furnished environment. Although I only stayed one night I would have no hesitation in staying again or recommending to others.I honestly can't think of any element of the service that they could improve upon.

Night At wensum guest houseArrived earlier than expected so expecting room not to be ready but it was. Staff at desk very welcoming and informative. Single room very clean and nicely decorated. Little comforts and touches like a sweet on pillow. My room not ensuite but shower and toilet feet away and very clean. Secure private parking good and my room was quiet. Walk into Norwich a pleasant walk and about 15 minutes.Altogether a pleasant friendly clean guest house ran professionally. Good value. Would recommend it and stay there again.

We found this hotel to be quite,modern clean.All you could eat breakfast,which was self serve.Definetly worth the money.Not to far from city centre, and the broads.The room was small but we wanted en-suite,but it was still big enough for 2.We are going again later on in year,

Fantastic & Friendly Service!A warm and friendly welcome from the staff as we entered the Guest House. He explained the \"rules\" including Health & Safety regulations and then asked if we needed any further information with respect to sight seeing, bars or clubs.The room had all the necessary amenities and the shower was extremely hot and powerful; which is just what you need after walking around sight seeing all day. :)The breakfast has a wide selection which includes fruit, cereal and a traditional fry-up - it's all self service \"buffet style\" which means you can eat as much as you want (within reason of course :)).The only drawback is that it's a fair distance from the station if you're walking but you can get a local taxi for around £5 which is fair. If you do decide to take a taxi / minicab I would not recommend \"5-star cars\" as they made me wait nearly 30 minutes when they said the car is \"on it's way\". Unbeknown to me their headoffice is obviously close to London!!!If you're looking for a friendly, peaceful and clean environment then I would recommend this guest house to anybody! I can guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Very Satisfied CustomersMe and wife stayed at Wensum House in April 2009 for a short break. We were very impressed. It is in a perfect location just outside the city centre, but far enough away not to be in the firing line of late night revellers. It seemed to have been freshly refurbished as everything was new and faultless. However i think, from what i saw, they are well on top of the cleaning so it should remain at this standard. The breakfast was also of high quality and the selection of food was as you would expect. All in all i would recommend to anyone.

Super little hotelVery clean and bright, hotel with a modern feel. Noise was not a problem here and the bedroom was a good size, nicely decorated, comfortable, clean and warm. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Access to the city was not a problem, all of which was a short taxi / bus ride away

My one-night stayFor the money, this was definitely a great way to stay. Sure, the TV may have been the size of a computer monitor, and maybe the only window was a skylight, and when they said bathroom they literally meant it was just a bath (although if you're shorter than 3 feet tall you might be able to stand up and use the removable shower head to shower), but it was a good night's sleep, clean, and had a good breakfast.

A very nice, new looking Guesthouse, run by some very nice, pleasant Europeans.Everything seems very new in here. Freeview, digital tv's, and all the usual you would expect, you get here, topped off with a nice Breakfast in the morning, ( buffet ).Good!

This place was more like a 4* hotel rather than \"Guest House\". Everything was immaculate and the decor was modern and luxurious. Terrific value and close to some good pubs!

Nicely done upWe were impressed by the redecoration of the property. It is off the main road and has a good sized secure car park. Gorgeous building. Room we stayed in ws smaller than we had expected but think it was the smallest one there. Bathroom was tiny but practical. Have to say was a little bit disappointed by the noise as walls were incredibly thin and the room by us had a very drunken preparation for a night out before coming back really noisily at 3am but other than that enjoyed our stay. Reception was incredibly welcoming and speedy. They had even done payment for us when we checked out, so only needed to hand back our key and pick up the receipt. Was a little bit further out of town than I had expected so we had to drive everywhere and I think that was the thing we had least expected. Overall a lovely welcoming little guest house.
