This hotel is very convenient to Interstate 84. Easy off and on. Almost always have rooms available at a great price. If you do not mind a somewhat run down hotel that has seen better days operated by an indifferent staff this is the place for you.

Friendly staff. In need of alot of repairs, not the cleanest but ok for a cheap place to stay for the night.

Stayed there for a night after a friends bachelor party. Hotel desk was left unattended several times by what appeared to be a college kid. The desk clerk was rude to guests. Fire alarm malfunctioned and woke us up. Water damaged ceiling tiles and walls carpet was dingy and worn. Strange odor of mildew and smoke in halls and elevator. Room was dirty when I arrived, hairs on bathroom floor, rusty fixtures, mildew on tub tiles, carpet no vacuumed, smelled like cigarette smoke (non smoking room). Food at the free breakfast was disgusting milk was warm, coffee gross. WIFI was down and there is no business center. Never will go again, I have warned all friends to stay away! Haven't been to the outback there for several years but they do have a good reputation. ps I booked with another site but feel the need to warn everybody to stay away. This hotel needs a wrecking ball!

Loud and no sound control, we could hear every word and noise from our neighbors' rooms. The hotel had a weird smell of marijuana, mildew. Yuck! The hotel didn't feel completely safe, and the rooms had a dingy feel. Further, the rooms were small, cramped and outdated.

For the short time I was there in the room, everything was clean, adequate and reasonable for the cost of the one night. It was convenient to the Danbury courthouse where I had business and nearby to I-84 for accessibility to and from the Hartford airport as well.

It was close to Patterson, NY. Outback Restaurant was next door. No ironing board in room. We had 1/2 roll of toilet tissue and no extra. An iron and no ironing board. I asked for while at the front desk, woman said she's send someone up. 40 minutes later no tissue. Went to desk. Man at desk said: "How much do you need?" I told him and he gave it to me. It was right underneath the desk. I could have had tissue 40 minutes ago. Told guy at front desk we didn't have an ironing; he said he knew. He went to an empty room and got one out. If he knew that, why didn't they put one in the room. They are lazy.

Got a great rate on this room however this place is a dump!! Spend the money to stay somewhere better.

The suite was large but very outdated in appearance. It looked like furniture and decor from the 1970's. The pillows were flat, there were 3 holes in our blanket, the bathtub had serious rust around the drain hole, and the tv stopped working (there was sound but no picture. We didn't bother to complain, we just wanted to get out of there in the morning). The room was clean but needed serious updating and maintenance. It appears to be a very old hotel and/or hasn't been remodeled in years. The hallway carpets are old and dirty and I got the impression that the owners/operators don't care about providing an attractive or comfortable place for their guests. The customer service was adequate, but not exceptional or rave-worthy. If I have to stay in Danbury again, I will choose to stay elswhere. Save your money and go elsewhere where you will get quality and value.

Nothing. It is getting a make over soon, and it looks like its being let go until then. Awful hotel. Nice desk staff, but not necessarily all are competent. Needs repairs, signs of badly done repairs everywhere. Dirty carpets. Rooms very old and run down. Bathtub drain and diverter broken.

July, 2007
Only stay at this hotel if you don't have any other choices. The room stank, burned filthy carpet, old chipped, and stained furniture, moldy smell, peeling wallpaper. I was here only because I was with friends on a trip. I would rather sleep in the auto than this hotel. It needs to be torn down.

Nothing. I checked out after one night. Place was a dump. Had to stay with friends. Welfare hotel at best. Really horrible conditions, dirty and smoky! The Wesley hotel in Danbury Ct was disappointing at best. My family and I checked out after one night. The hotel was a dump. This seemed to be a welfare hotel. We rode to our room in an elevator that was not recently inspected. Really horrible conditions, dirty and smoky! The shower did not work nor the TV.

We stayed here just before dropping my son off at camp. The lock on the door didn't work, tub dripped the whole time. Only the fact that the restaurant was onsite and we had driven 6 hours & were too tired to go elsewhere kept us here. Never again!

The staff and the location. The shower water doesn't drain, stains in tub, had concerns whether sheets were washed! I like the location, it was perfect and great. Other than that, nothing else was good. The rooms were spacious, the staff were very helpful to me. However the sheets seemed like they hadn't been washed in a while and very dull. I had my concerns. The restroom was very bad. The toilet was okay, the bath tub was deplorable with water stagnating from the shower and shower pressure extreme low and I was too tall for the shower, I had to bend half way and shower. I think if they fix some of these, this could be a good place because of the location and the staff.

Our reservation for a ""deluxe room with...fresh decor and...a microwave, refrigerator..."" but our actual room was tired, ratty, moldy, smelly, and had no micro or fridge. The manager refused to read our printed reservation and would not give us another room (although apparently they have some more like the advertised one). The place is even a fire hazard, with torn lampshade hanging against a lightbulb. Don't waste your money at this low-class place with a mid-range pricetag!

It was a filthy swinehole. Needs to be updated in a major way. Stay away! Beds are hard and uncomfortable, sheets dirty, peeling paint throughout, hotel has clearly not been updated since perhaps the late 70s and things are falling apart. There was nobody at the front desk for an entire evening and I was locked out. Had to go to the outback steakhouse next door and have them track down the manager, who took hours to arrive, after he had been notified that there was nobody at the desk. As for the clientele, they are loud, sleazy, either college kids smoking marijuana. Stay away!

Nothing other than an Out Back Steakhouse attached. Nothing, where do we begin?

"We had a horrible experience, out of two rooms one still had ""remains"" in the toilet and after a change, both had filthy bathrooms"

Leaving. Juice was water, failed o clean sink etc on second day. Big hotel didn't have anyone to deliver shampoo, soap. Room was rundown & dirty.

"This hotel has mold, it's filthy and scheduled to be torn down. The local college had contracted it as a dorm. It smells like a bar. "
Date of Stay:

The restaurant attached to the hotel. This hotel is in very poor condition. I would not allow my wife to stay there alone. The attached restaurant will not allow charges to the room because the hotel does not pay the charges timely or at all. Wellesley used to be a very good economy hotel.
