We stayed for 1 night in July. I don't know where to start! The hotel is very grubby and has a bad smell of sweaty socks about it. Every area you look is tired dated and dirty. The windows are filthy with dirty finger marks everywhere. the room was disgusting with the socket hanging from the wall the cold tap in the grubby bathroom was unusable as it was hanging loose. The portable TV had a bad arial connection. The bed had a cheap grubby mattress that gave me the worst nights sleep ever. The people running the dump er sorry hotel, are quite friendly though. The pictures on the website must have either been taken 20 years ago or have been doctored. Please take my advice and don't whatever you do book to stay here. We paid £48 for a double room for 1 night half that price would be too much for this dirty hell hole

Dirty glasses and a dirty tea tray in the room on arrival. Dirty carpet, cigarette butts in bins, bathroom uncleaned, towels badly marked. BUT the staff were lovely, kind and helpful. Its just that the place was filthy.

Absolutely disgusting place, my room was filthy there was blood on the headboard which fell off when touched, the place hadn't been cleaned for ages my tv never worked, you couldn't swing a cat in my room and the place stunk. The list could go on and on. It's like a rabbit warren if ever there was a fire in that place god only knows what would happen.

we arrived at the hot around 4pm as quated in the booking i booked this hotel on the basis it had a lift to all floors as a disabled person .where i was told the lift was broken (its a good job i am not a wheel chair user) where we was told there is no late key and you have to be in for 11pm we got to our single room where there was no room to move i was going to have a cup of tea where the cup had all staines around the top and we did bother .where you had to climb across the bed to open the window in my friends room the window was broken where there was valubles where there were a loose door in my room where my friend had no pillow and just recived a custion where in my room there was no hot water so i could have a shower we tried to adress some of the issues .but the hotel would not resolve my late rooms .com need to take this hotel of the list .it was very poor .we was not expecting the hilton but we expected basic esaicals i feel let down normally the service of hotels from late rooms is very good

It seemed a bit seedy and run down at first, like the town itself. I asked for a channel changer and was refused because they had all been stolen. I had to ask to have the heat turned on in my room. But the wireless internet was free and fast, there was plenty of very hot water for the bath and the full English breakfast was excellent.

served white bread for breakfast and could have had more choice of cereal such as muesli or porridge and some fresh/dried fruit.

disgustingI did not expect the ritz for what we paid but i did not expect to be checking into a squat, the first room did not lock and our belongings were left in an open room all day whilst we were out as the lock could not be repaired. The replacement room had a dirty carpet with burn marks, dirty soap in bathroom with hair on it used by previous guests, fag ash on toilet cistern and around telly, corridor smelt of smoke, and a really nice touch for our 14 year old daughter to find was a business card for a lap dancing club. We did not eat incase the kitchen hygiene was the same standard as the bedrooms. I gave the manager a chance to respond, he offered a discount on our next visit, a refund would of been more appropriate as squats are normally free.

The Hotel I thought the hotel had just been took over, so was hopefully getting it's act together. When you 1st walk in you do see a bit of dust on the telephone. I would say the hotel could be veery good just need to get the final touches right. Like replace the missing shower curtain good clean around toliet. And headboard on the bed. Like i said get the final touches right could be a great hotel as location and food is good.

Was not happy with the room, although bedding was clean the bathroom looked a little dated and grubby, marks/stains on towels and the window would not close properly due to part on closure fitting missing. Had a drink in the bar and was served cans. When i asked for a glass it was filthy and therefore i did not drink from this. Simple Hygiene was not met in my view and will not stay again.

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived, and all the staff we encountered did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable The breakfast was excellent, being hot and quickly served, with extra toast and hot drinks speedily provided too.The location of the hotel is excellent. Close enough for us to have been able to walk to the centre of Blackpool in 15 minutes, whilst at the same time being well away from all the hustle and bustle.

The breakfast we received was not satisfactory at all. I stayed at the hotel with my 6 year old child and although i paid £80.00 pounds for the room including breakfast the following morning, there were a number of issues regarding breakfast:> My daughter didn't receive her cooked breakfast> My breakfast arrived and i was told they'd ran out of tomatoes; my fried egg wasn't cooked properly and the sausages were raw > When the toast arrived, there was no butter on the table (or with the toast)> By the time the butter arrived, the toast was hard and cold, and i had to request that it be exchanged for fresh toast> I finished my breakfast and then waited a further 15 minutes for someone to come back to the table to ask whether my daughter was ready for her cooked breakfast, and to offer us tea or coffee - in the end we had to leave the hotel to catch our train home> There were still party poppers and empty bottles/glasses on the floors and ledges in the restaurant which were from the previous evening
