Our experience at the Watermark was unbelievable. The concierge was very helpful and gracious. We found our rooms to be spacious and beautifully decorated. We got a great night's rest in the comfortable beds. We were able to control our room temperature with a separate thermostat. Both the spa tub and marble shower were wonderful. This hotel is perfectly located along the riverwalk. Our family took advantage of eating breakfast each morning outside at Pesca. We also enjoyed several dinners at Pesca. Delicious! Excellent service. Our stay at the Watermark will be one that we never forget!

I've stayed in many beautiful hotels, the Watermark is at the top, it is elegant, classy and the staff impeccable.

This is an excellent hotel with wonderful staff and a great spa. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the bathroom was outstanding. The jacuzzi tub was a nice touch and the shower left nothing to be desired. The location is outstanding and is close to all of the Riverwalk activities. While in the middle of the activity, the rooms are quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend the Watermark to anyone who is looking for a comfortable bed, a great staff and everything you want at your fingertips.

The Watermark was great for a luxury stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a great location right on the River walk. The spa is a must for pampering yourself. Could be there the whole day! The pool and Jacuzzi on the roof also nice but small. Loved San Antonio and the Watermark. Would definitely return.

We are just back from our trip to San Antonio and Sea World with our three grandchildren and daughter. I considered the Hyatt out near Sea World but the Watermark was the best decision I made in years. The hotel is beautiful, quiet but in the heart of the Riverwalk, clean and the best part was the staff--friendly, no request too much and always took the extra step--a request for ice resulted in a huge bucket full rather than an ice bucket. When asking directions the staff practically walked us to our destination, a request for a child friendly Mexican restaurant within easy walking distance of the hotel resulted in reservation made by the concierge within ten minutes and the restaurant was right on target--good Mexican food and kid friendly. The spa is too much to believe. Try the water massage (in a Jacuzzi tub wiith wonderful oils for over one hour with special foot treatment afterwards--a necessity after two days at Sea World. The restaurant was crowded on Friday night at seven but guests of the hotel are given priority seating. My only complaint--the long wait for breakfast and lunch to be served--it was almost quicker to order room service! The Alamo was only two blocks away as was the IMax theater that shows a movie on the Alamo. The river boat ride tickets are sold and the trip starts at a store about twenty feet from the hotel exit on the river. The pool is small but has a hot tub and a restaurant serving poolside during the day. Its on the roof and very relaxing. Forget what other reviewers said about the service last year. This is truly a great find and I have been all over the world in first class hotels.

The room was great, the beds are comfortable. No outside noises from the Riverwalk. The spa, however, needs to work on their communication. I received a different massage than the one I was scheduled for. The restaurant, Pesca, was absolutely terrible. I believe this was the worst meal I've ever eaten. Food was so bland and my husbands fish was dry and salty. "
