| Only ten dollars cheaper than the Hilton, which is amazing, this place turned out to be a dive. Apart from the nice lobby, this is a low rent establishment. Rooms have crude furnishings all painted pink and severely marked up. There renovating which made waking up to grinding and sawing every morning. The internet access cost me 27 for an intermittent signal for 24hrs, but I just wanted to send one file. Room does have a mini-fridge, which was nice, but the coffee was limited to small packets of instant. What a disaster. |

| The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and clean. I did have the breakfast which was a nice buffet, if a little overpriced. Again the restaurant staff were very friendly and accomodating. |

| Location not ideal, since it was quite a long steep uphill walk from the City Centre. Breakfasts fine, but we were disappointed in the restaurant for evening meals. |

| Tired by trying hard, saved by its close walking distance to the city centre
The Watermark Hotel Brisbane may be around 25+ years old, judging from the bathroom fittings, the wear on the taps, the shower screen door that I had to re-hang before using and the non-functioning clock on the telephone unit.
In summary - I booked here because it was cheap. It is close to the city. It is warm, dry and has bright rooms. A little more in-house attention to small items and a few more smiles from reception and I would recommend it to more however this time...consider your own personal tastes. |

| We choose to stay at the Hotel Watermark when in Brisbane, as it is conveniently situated to Roma Street Station, for trains and buses, yet overlooks a lovely park and is small enough to be more personal. There is no problem with traffic noise and the rooms are comfortable and roomy. |

| Although the Watermark Hotel Brisbane has all the facilities neccessary for its rating, they are sub-standard. Forcing you to pay $22 per day for an internet connection in your room or work in the "Business Centre" is ridiculous. My room had been nominally renovated (new linen and a coat of paint), but the door kept getting stuck. Other local hotels in this price range with the same number of stars are vastly superior. |

| Lovely Room, but we thought the view was wasted when looking out on suburban rooftops. The other side of the hallway would have great views of the city area. Clean and well kept, the only other concern was a very small bathroom. Amenities were all great, and overall a nice lace to stay. Only there one night, but the staff at the desk were very polite and helpful with all requests. |

| This is a nice hotel, but is still needs more work. Wireless Broadband was free when we stayed which was a +, however the room and dining area need some work. [Other hotel name] is the standard for this company. |
