Difficult to find the hotel at first but when located proved to be in a very handy part of town. Dined in the restaurant and food was of a high standard. Reception staff pleasant but feel the internet facilities in the lobby could be complimentary to hotel guests.

Travelodge PlusAdequate for an overnight stay. Rather like a Travelodge.

A pleasant hotel. Car park very useful. Included meal good and staff accomodating about choices. View lovely in sunshine. Only problem was the noisy people leaving in early hours after the Friday evening parties.

Hotel a little tired but is a welcoming and very pleasant location for a short stay.Friendly staff in an efficiently managed hotel. Located a fifteen minute walk outside the centre in an area next to the river that looks to have fallen on hard times after regeneration about twenty years ago, with apartments and leisure outlets that have closed or are looking decidedly worse for wear. Certainly no longer chic! However, the hotel has been maintained well enough and our experience there was a very positive one.

I was not impressed with the breakfast. The cooked breakfast was cold and so was the coffee.

Disappointed. Wireless internet failed to engage, mattress on the bed had seen better days. Unfortunate as the staff seemed genuinely concerned and interested.

Without question we had a good experience at the hotel and found the staffvery friendly and helpful. The only snag was finding the hotel in the first place and would like you to look again at the directions given on the site.

Hotel needs update / refurbishment

Hotel is good with a lovely unique total view of river.TV was very high placed on the opposite wall in my room which made for uncomfortable viewing.Always has last minute vacancies as well. Slightly out of the beaten track although very close to Waterford City Central.Uneasy walk by canal/river if not sure of other routes into hotel late at night, if you are female and alone. Slight drawback but once you become familiar with roads and streets, reaching hotel late at night is not a problem.
