This is a fun place to stay if you are the parent of a Domer. It has a very convenient location, beautiful rooms, a fun place to eat if you are too tired to get out.

Nice staff. Uncomfortable mattress, room was not finished. Warning.

I booked a room at this hotel for my husband's and my anniversary, (we had our wedding reception there while it was under a different owner), and we really didn't think that it was worth the price that we paid for it. The front desk was courteous and the room was nice until you get into the bathroom. The drain cover in the tub was gross and the outside bottom of the tub needed to be cleaned. The television looked nice, but the reception was horrible! They said that it was due to the satellite company working on the satellites the previous day...which I found hard to believe. The pub left little to be desired, no liquor license! We probably won't go back.

The hotel was very clean. It has 2 pools and is a wonderful stay!!!

The Waterford Lodge is a beautiful hotel. The lobby was gorgeous and grand, and the bar/dining area was fantastic. Our room had a huge flat screen tv, as well as a kitchenette and a patio. It was the first hotel I've stayed at with such a homely feel! There was plenty of storage space and the bathroom was clean enough to take a bubble bath. However, it was not close enough to campus for me.

Wonderful decor and accommodations. Terrible location. We found the hotel and room to be lovely. The decor was great, nice bed, flat screen TV, Bose radio, puffy towels, and spotlessly CLEAN! Unfortunately the location was not where the map indicated and the surrounding neighborhood does not do this hotel justice. I did enjoy the hotel so much that we still might return to it.

It was fairly attractive. There were some sort of flies or bugs in the bathroom. They were a bit short handed. The lady was nice at the counter. The place was fairly nice except there were some sort of flies or bugs in the bathtub (some dead and some not dead).

The wall attached air conditioners began to drip in the middle of the night from use but the front desk changed our room with no issue.

This is the worst hotel experience of my life. I travel about 30 weekends a year and have never been so disappointed ina stay. When I arrived it look like a demolision was taking place and went down hill from there. Do Not ,Do Not stay at this Dump

It was very clean and close to Notre Dame. There are no elevators and the bathroom was extremely small. Overall, it was adequate, but it is not very handicap-friendly and there are no luggage carts or people to help get you to your room.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent location. Complementary breakfast not included. A great find! Excellent location close to Notre Dame and St. Mary's. I was pleasantly surprised at the elegant decor in the room and plentiful amenities. With two pools (indoor and outdoor) and a restaurant on site, it's a great choice for a weekend in South Bend.

The layout of the room was great for us. They need to dust the light fixtures and up the water pressure. I was under the impression that the hotel would have been farther out of town than it was. I was glad to realize it was closer than I thought. The water pressure was a bit disappointing, but the room was still good. The lobby was warm and welcoming and made me feel welcome, the staff could take a lesson from it. They should smile and greet the guest sincerely, people can tell if you like your job or if you are just there because you have to be.

Convenient to University of Notre Dame. The hotel was just fine. It was not exceptional. I would stay there again.

Updated much than expected, nice. Ice machines and room locations not marked well. Difficult to get to the main lobby from the rooms.

The size of the rooms and the decor and amenities. It needed more closet space to hang clothes. Very convenient location in regards to the Notre Dame campus. Very nicely decorated with nice large rooms. It was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave, also. The TV didn't have too many stations, but it was a nice large LCD flat screen built into the wall.
