A gorgeous hotel at a fabulous price. The hotel is very very centrally located. A short walk from Union square, the trolley lines and the BART. Great food and bars surround, as well as fabulous shopping! The service was lovely and I recommend the food in the bar downstairs. They also provide free internet access.

The Warwick made for the perfect honeymoon. Upon check-in we received an upgrade to make our stay even better. Our room was perfect, oozing with charm. The hotel was small and quiet, exactly what we wanted. The service/staff was more than helpful, providing us with maps, directions and location advice. The Warwick is close the the cable cars, municipal bus lines and the F-line making it very easy to travel throughout the city. I would reccomend the hotel to anyone looking to get away from large, generic hotels.

The staff were very nice. Our room was very clean, a little small but it worked perfectly for a one night stay. The Cafe downstairs in the lobby area has good food and some good wines to choose from. My husband and I will come back to the Warwick for another stay.

Great location! Rude, nasty, unprofessional front desk late night staff person. She was there once before & I had the same experience. Rude, nasty, unprofessional front desk staff late night person. She was there once before & I had the same experience. Though I had arranged with the hotel for a non-smoking room, she was insisting on placing me in a smoking room. Only in going to the manager did I get the non-smoking room that was available. Last time, she purposely called my room late, after I was asleep, waking me, to check the time of my desired wake-up call for the morning, and told me check-out was one 1 hour than it actually was. Very unprofessional and rude, unlike the rest of their staff.

This was a pleasant stay, clean, good location in downtown, excellent staff, however the parking made it not such a good deal adding $50/d. Some hotels dont charge for parking and it wasnt clear on the site that it would cost, and the 800 number said it was cheaper than it ended up being. Took the streetcar around and walked a lot. Had a good time, would do it again, but if I brought my car,would find a different place. They really do take the free coffee away at 7am. Restaurant is open then, so you can buy it there after it opens, or walk 3 doors down to Starbucks. Good healthy food around the corner at Marin Cafe.

This hotel is in a fantastic location...a short walk to nearby Union Square, the Rodeo Drive of San Francisco. Its also a 10-minute walk to Chinatown. A cab ride to see the Giants is less than $10. Overall, the hotel was old but beautifully restored. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Very good value for the $$.

This was our first trip to San Francisco and my husband and I were very pleased with this boutique hotel. The service was great and the room was very nice especially when we compared rates around the area. We were in room 601 (away from Geary) and never heard anything except some noise in the morning outside our open window. We thought it was perfect for exploring the city from as we had no car but everything is so close. There are a number of nice restaurants within blocks and shopping and the BART are in close proximity. We walked a lot but that's what we intended. There were street beggars everywhere in San Francisco, not just by our hotel. We ate breakfast in the hotel and it was good. The people working at the hotel were really nice. We were impressed with our hotel, with our visit to the city and we hope to come back soon. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

The Warwick in San Francisco has a great location near Union Square and the cable car lines. There were lots of restaurants and shopping nearby within easy walking distance. Although the room was small, it was nicely decorated with antiques and very comfortable and clean.

It was a little cold. Took awhile to get the heat on since it uses water pipes to heat the room. Great and curious staff with very clean rooms. The front desk take his time about explaining how to move about in San Francisco when it comes to Busses, taxis and shuttles. Very good impression for the Hotel management.`

We checked in to the Hotel adn the staff was so rude!!! We were taken to our room and the room was dirty the bellman proceededo use profanity because he was angry that the room was dirty. He took us to another room nad the Bed Linens were old the room smelled horrible and all the furniture as very very old and the room was just nasty. I read the prvious reviews on this hotel adnd they were alright and I have no idea why. We left as soon as we checked in.

Upon arriving in San Francisco, I was very pleased at the hotel that I chose. The room was small, but very nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. I slept well every night, with my window open and very little noise. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. I was greeted with a smile every morning and evening. They also gave me some great restaurant reccommendations. The location can't be beat; Warwick Regis is two blocks from Union Square and surrounded by amazing shopping, museums, and food. My SF experience was first class thanks to the friendly, efficient people at Hotel Warwick.

Location. Had to reconnect my room phone. Connection had come loose. Nice place. Friendly staff. Convenient to downtown and public transportation.

The room was quite small and decorated nicely. The parking was really expensive for two days and was vallet only. They were nice but it was quite small and a better experience for older adults. Not very scenic but what can you expect from a hotel built a while ago.

The Warwick Regis Hotel San Francisco reminded me of an older, in-town European hotel -- tighter spaces and darker decor than the new American hotels. However, the public areas do have touches of elegance (piano in a small but plush lobby, uniformed doorman) and the room, while obviously carved out of a formerly larger space, was quite comfortable, clean, and well serviced. The shower was actually larger than anything you'll find in Europe, or in most American city hotels for that matter. For a closet there was a freestanding, creaky wooden armoire -- a little tight, but perfectly functional and kind of funky. And then there's the neighborhood! You are a short stroll from Union Square and surrounded by world class hotels that charge many times more. Unless you are rich or on a corporate card, the Warwick is an unbeatable value and a smart alternative to the St. Francis, etc.

Highly recommend this hotel to all! We lived in San Francisco just blocks from here for over ten years, and I always thought how nice it would be to stay here. Now that we have relocated to southern California, I stay here as often as I can. Delightful rooms, great staff.
