great location, between two main avenues walking distance for every thing.

Staff was wonderful, room was spacious and quiet. Loved the history. Elevators were small and few. Everyone of the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a wonderful intimate character. The elevators are crowded and sometimes you have to wait but wasn't a deal breaker sort of hardship for us.

Stayed on a Saturday night in April 2009. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very large for New York, with a walk in closet. The bathroom was the cleanest bathroom I've every had in NYC. Recommend this hotel to everyone.

The Warwick is in a great location, only a few blocks from Central Park, right around the corner from 5th Avenue, and Times Square is a short cab drive, about 10 blocks, away. Also, it was only about 15 - 20 minutes from LaGuardia airport. The staff is great, very friendly and helpful, especially the doormen and servers at Murals on 54. The hotel itself is quaint and simple, rooms are spacious and clean. The only downside was that renovations were being made to the exterior (not noisey though) and 1 elevator was down, but if you're patient, it's not a problem. I would definitely stay here again; it is a great bargain for the price. Had a great time in the city staying at the Warwick!

My friend & I spent "our birthday weekend" in NYC. We needed concierge help with shopping & getting around. The concierge was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had within a 3 minute phone call. We ordered room service breakfast, which was superb and EXACTLY on time. Also, we requested a coffee maker in our room & extra coffee, which was delivered quickly and with a smile. The ice machine was broken on our floor, but we just took the elevator to the next floor. (no big deal)

Beautiful room, clean, spacious and well appointed. Minor had to pay for internet access. The hotel was a beautiful landmark, historic but updated. We had trepidation about arriving with three small children, but upon check-in, the concierge disappeared and resurfaced with three plush Warwick Hotel teddy bears for them.

I picked the Warwick as part of a flight/hotel package, having researched and read many travel reviews. Even though everything looked good "on paper," you still never know until you're there. The Warwick more than fulfilled my expectations. Lovely, clean, gracious, central location. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in! Hotel room was a good size, bathroom was modern and attractive, dining room was pricey but nice. Well appointed fitness room, with extra thoughtful touches of bottled water and fruit. People at the desk were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Great New York hotel! Will return without hesitation.

My son and I went to NY to see the Yankees play in their final year in Yankee Stadium. The Warwick Hotel made the trip a perfect 10!!!! Best hotel bed I have ever slept in. The staff was courteous and very helpful. Any info we needed, they were there to help. The place was immaculate and the breakfast at Murals was excellent. Easy walking distance to most everything we were interested in seeing. Although our schedule was tight, we were able to get it all in because of the great location and the superb staff. Definitely going back and we will stay at The Warwick!!!!

This was a great trip and very economical price. I was surprised that it all turned out so nice given the special rate. The hotel service was great, location was PERFECT!! Our stay felt so comfortable and like home, and with everthing being in a safe distance, it was so easy to get around. The staff was very personable, and willing to make recommendations upon request. I would make this my home whenever returning to NY.

Location was excellent, room nicely updated and very well kept and the staff was very helpful. Small bathroom. Nice, character hotel that has been well updated. They can't do anything about the size of the bathroom, but you wouldn't want our (upgraded, spacious corner) room if you were at all hefty, as you would not be able to squeeze past the sink to the shower stall (which was large and nicely tiled). Bathroom amenities a bit skimpy for this quality level and no bathrobe in closet. I guess we could have asked, but didn't have time to lounge around anyway!

Very friendly folks, from doorman to maid service. Extremely clean, upscale amentities, quiet and comfortable rooms. . . . I'll be back again for my 4th stay.

We found the Warwick to be a wonderful hotel. We stayed in a suite and it was very roomy. The bathroom was clean and, although it was small, it was completely adequate. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean and crisp. The staff was very friendly and helpful in making suggestions and giving information. The location is convenient to shows and many tourist sites as well as the subway. MOMA is just acoss the street and Central Park is within walking distance. We did not eat there, but the hotel restaurants were priced similarly to those in the area. There is construction going on at the hotel, but the staff offered to move us to a quieter room if it became loud. It never did become a problem, and we did not hear the city noises. We will certainly stay there again if we are ever in the area.

My 16 year old daughter and I stayed 3 nights and loved this hotel! I was looking for something "Old New York" rather than a glitzy chain hotel and we were not disappointed. It has a charming history, beautiful, spacious rooms and very friendly, attentive service. The location is great - just 4 blocks to most anything in mid town manhattan. We didn't use the fitness rooms or business rooms so I can't comment on those. But the rooms were very quiet for New York Standards. I could barely hear our neighbors. Loved it! Would highly recommend!

I had stayed at the Warwick NY before when I was by myself. I had really enjoyed it. This time I took my wife. The room was a little cozy for two people, but more than adequate. The only real negative was the size and number of elevators. The quality of everything was very nice and the room was very comfortable. The staff was outstanding. Expensive to use the business center but the exercise area was nice and free with the room. The location is excellent for visiting Manhatten - close to everything we were interested in. Restaurant and bar are excellent - Randolph's is a good place to hang out or have a sandwich.

The Warwick, at 6th Ave. & 54th, just blocks below Central Park So., is perfectly located for business or pleasure. There is nothing negative that we could say about our family's 3 day (4th of July weekend) stay at this hotel. Its atmosphere is charming and unpretentious; the staff are attentive and friendly; the rooms are warmly decorated and impeccably clean; and the room rate was modest by comparison with other choices of lodging (including those of large hotel chains) we had patronized in the past. All of this; plus the central location (from which any NYC District/neighborhood, attraction, park, museum, theater, or dining experience is easily accessible) makes the Warwick, a perfect choice. Even if one were in the City on business with only 2 hours free, he/she can take in an exhibit at the MOMA, which is just around the corner). For us, the Warwick was a cocoon from which we emerged in the mornings, and crawled into at the end of pleasure filled days and evenings, and it will be our only future choice of lodging when we visit the "Big Apple." As an additional note, we had never booked lodging in combination with airline tickets via Orbitz, and found the experience to be seamless, without any problem whatsoever, both with respect to the hotel and our flights.

Great helpful friendly staff with only one exception at front desk. Everything was great except at the front desk. Great location, friendly helpful staff, room large for NY, great breakfast. Only negative was front desk experience.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day/4 night stay at this hotel. Our room was very spacious with the added benefit of a pullman type kitchen. (Hint: a small refrigerator would make this room even better; or add a mirror and you've got a dressing area!) The staff was extremely professional; their restaurant recommendations were "spot on" perfect. Although our room on the 9th floor is scheduled for renovation in the future, it was still well-appointed and clean. Hotel's location was PERFECT - within walking distance to Lincoln Center, 5th Avenue, theater district, Central Park, restaurants, trains and subways. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was very clean and very courteous staff. Size of the rooms was very good especially for NY city standards. The hotel itself is very nice. Above all the location is GREAT....right between 5th ave shopping and broadway. Only downside is the elevators are small so you may have to wait at time, other than that I would definately recommend and stay here again.
