someone needs to take time to teach the kids service at breakfast. Otherwise its a good hotell

Excellent value, good food, room a bit small but contained all the basic requirements, nicely situated on the promenade, ample parking at front and car park to the rear. Would recommend ,a good quality hotel at a very reasonable price.

the hotel is nothing compaired to what it said on the web site everyone of us that stayed in the hotel were not impressed we would never recommend this to anyone everything that was on the web site was faulse we booked a smoking room and there was no smoking rooms in the whole building no breakfast the pool was pointless because it was open from 8am to 8pm and your not aloud to book-in untill 2pm and had to be out the rooms by 10am the next morning. i also suggest you change the web site as this has not been updated and non of it is true and the lifts need to working properly as we kept getting stuck in it thanks.

The hotel smelled of cicarette smoke, I think the breakfast staff were unhappy.However the night porter was lovely and the receptionists and though the hotel was very dreary and tatty it was a bargain rate.

Room was adequate but very low and uncomfortable bed. Mirrors very low, I am 5'3" and had to bend down to bathroom and dressing table mirror .Room not serviced second day. Almost all chairs in reception area (smokers area) were torn and shabby. General cleaning could be improved.

The hotel has an amazing position in a quiet area facing the beach; we had never been to Blackpool and we booked late, so our choices were limited; but the website details were encouraging and we were happy with our choice. We were happy with the location of the hotel, with the reception service, with the car parking (right in front of the hotel) and with the room location; we had a view to the sea. The breakfast was fine, although we had to wait for 25 mins to be served as there is no buffet format. But hey, we were on holiday... however, the room was disappointing because, although it said on every single room door that it is non-smoking, all rooms were 'on fire' and we inhaled a lot of smoke both overnight and during the evening. Our shower room smelled badly, I presume due to the cigarette smoke that had penetrated the ventilation system. We are professional athletes and we HATE smoking - so we found ourselves in a smokers' trap... that is the part we were not happy with. We decided not to complain as management seemed to be well aware of this problem, but we could not stay there for more than one night. If any other hotel on the promenade had looked more appealing we would have changed hotel without asking for our money back, but sadly, the rest looked worse and they were located in noisy areas, not what we wanted. We are well travelled sports people and so we are used to a buffet format for breakfast, checkin from 11 am onwards and proper non-smoking choices... this hotel wasn't exactly the ideal choice for us in that respect.

could do with an upgrade and firmer beds- our was quite lumpy and too soft. did enjoy the nice warm awimming pool and hotel location good.
