weekend breakThis hotel is definitely not 5*, it falls very short in this catergory. The hotel seemed very dark indeed, the lighting was too low. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I found the rooms not to 5* standard,my free internet was nt available in my room. If i was to visit Brussels again would i book this hotel? No .i saw hotels on my visit of better standard and lower star rating.

Unfortunatly i have to say we were very disappointed with our stay...My partner and i had arrived at 5pm at the hotel after travelling most of the day..We had requested a double room and on arrival was told only twins available..!!We was told to park and wait in reception..For what i could see it seemed a very posh and well decord hotel but everything was cornered off.!!we waited, we had noticed a glass and a tea cup on one of the tables..we would have loved a nice cup of tea or coffee after our long journey..but alas.. no drinks were available to be served (getting ready for private function) was told there was a private function that evening so wouldnt be able to have dinner in the restarant either..! if we had known we couldnt eat there i doubt we would have booked this hotel..The hotel in situated quite far from the main town and was a quite nippy and long walk to find somewhere else to eat..The room was pleasant enough..But no way would i class the room 5star..we have stayed in many 3star hotels and believe the frills on the chairs and curtain hanging in front of the mini bar that bumped this hotel up to a 5star..A 3star was better (didnt even have tea/coffee making facilities in our room..)Maybe if we were able to use all facilities then our stay might have been nicer..Yes indeed we got a great discounted room but didnt think this should have stopped us recieving the value of the said 5star..

The hotel is on Avenue Louise but this is very misleading - it is good 30-40 minutes walk from the Avenue Louise shopping area, you need to take a tram to get there (cca 10 minutes). The room did not have anything much cheaper hotels do as standard - tea or coffee facitlity, the window would not close - I was freezing the whole night as I only discovered before going to bed - too late for any repairs... Breakfast choice incredibly poor - 2 sorts of cheese and 2 sorts of ham - for the steep price of 25 €.

What a place....BRILLIANT...... happened to be ther when the monthly party was being held with all the actors, models etc...... wondered why everyone was so beautiful............................lovely hotel..........lovely city..... BUT..... BIG BUT........ all oif the shops are shut on Sunday...........................but......there is a very interesting antique market............

we stayed at the warwick Barsey hotel for 2 nights. the only negative points to note were that the reception staff were not very welcoming or helpful - the other staff were very good however. Also, the bar closed by midnight. The hotel is about a 30/40 minute walk to the centre - a nice walk but still longer than expected.
