The hotel owner was a font of local knowledge especially were to eat, the Manson Arms were the food was awesome you need to be hungry because you get a lot of food. Great central locationWe really enjoyed our stay here, it was ideally located within 10mins walking of York centre. We left our car here in the private car park and never had to use it in the 3 days we were there.Very clean hotel and the staff and owners were very warm and welcoming. Highly recommended for a city break here in York.

Excellent accommodation, friendly service, excellent breakfast - ideal for visit to YorkThe accommodation at the Warrens was just as had been advertised by Late Rooms. It was easy to reach from the A59 and was within walking distance of the old City. Parking was included at the accommodation, which gave peace of mind. Friendly service and good food made the stay very enjoyable.

4 star?quite dissapointed with quality of rooms. very convenient to york city centre though and you can park at the hotel free! staff were ok although there were not many of them! Cooked breakfast not too brilliant, jams need to be in sealed sachets rather than jars - don,t know whos poked what into them. Overall.- thought it was supossed to be 4 star but was definately not.

Friendly Place to StayEnjoyed my one night stay at the Warren. The room was not to my personal (modern) taste, but was very clean, quite, homely and comfortable. I was particularly impressed how helpful and friendly our breakfast chef was with giving my wife information about York. I was there on business but my wife was there to see York. All staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere.

The accomodation is very clean and the breakfast very nice, staff are very helpful. When you are told there is a narrow entrance into the car park believe it,it takes a bit of work to get down the lane and the car park is also tight. About a 10 minute walk into town.

The only down point was the poor strength of the shower and a relatively small room for a double

Great hotel, great staffA great place for a city break in a fantastic location, walking distance to both the town centre and the train station. Everything about the hotel was perfect from the warm welcome and easy check in to the great tourist advice from Richard and the clean and classy room. Can't recommend this place enough!

Seeing York minster lit up at night from my bed was a lovely little perk.Accomadation clean and tidy. After spending years travelling for business staying in big impersonal chains, this was a real change, some beautiful individual bits of furniture around.Would love to return when the garden dining area is able to open (weather a bit cold even for northerners to sit out & have breakfast). Breakfast certainly substantial and nicely cooked. Owners fantastically helpful.
