We paid the extra for the lake view room and it was worth it. You can save money by shopping for dinner at the local market and using the outdoor BBQ, which is very popular. The kitchens in the rooms were well equiped and the appliances are top notch. The bad thing is the beds are very hard, so for our 40 ish backs, we woke very sore. Our daughter had no problem. If we didn't get sore backs from the bed, we would be going back next year as it is perfect for families, which abound at this resort.

Very nice well kept property. Comfortable bed and loved the underground parking. Location is a bit off the main street of Osoyoos but not an overly big deal.

I stayed at this hotel with friends for 4 days over the fall wine festival and found it unimpressive; the service was unprofessional and not at all what I was expecting; in fact we had more professional service from the Best Western on our last night in town. I think there is a serious lack of training and the front desk staff seemed dishevelled and just simply unprofessional. The menu was lackluster and clearly they do not have a professional chef on board. The server in the wine bar was inexperienced (even though she told me she was the manager) and I found this particular server not knowledgeable about the local wines whatsoever; when I go to wine country I expect everyone in the service industry to know the local wines and wineries by name and have an opinion on each one. The staff was definately undertrained. My room was ok but there were serval broken items (already, considering I thought the property was new). Management was no where to be found when I asked to speak with someone about my concerns. The spa is non-existant and when I requested a treatment I was informed the spa lady was "on-call" and needed notice. Definately some issues with the management of this resort. I don't foresee success i the future.

just try it, the opening was in april yet the hotel had the service and facilities of a mature hotel, the location, the people and the contents are as stated when i discussed with the management. there is nothing negative to say , i love to cook, i had a choice of 7 napoleon bbq, try beating that. the pool was clean , nicely warm but freash and using some formula that did not hurt the eyes, i had to congratulate the pool keeper which i have never done, i am not a swimmer normally. we had space, view and quality and yes lets not gorget OSOYOOS, that place is beautiful, the wineries are close and very inviting, food is superb, go there and i am sure you will be like me, you will be planning your next trip there. i will be ther next may

Very friendly staff, very neat place to relax, service was excellent and the scenery was beautiful with the beach and the pool, a lots of flowers and trees around the pool area with BBQ's, restaurant and bar.

This resort opened on April 1, 2008 and offers great value for money. It is an ideal family resort with on-site pool and beach amenities and full kitchens in all suites. It is a five minute drive to downtown Osoyoos where you will find two supermarkets, a liquor store, and any other item you will need to enhance your vacation. The resort offers professional-style barbeques around the pool area, hot tubs, a gym and steam and sauna facilities. We were very impressed with the level of service provided by management and staff during our romantic stay mid-April. I'm not certain if there is a restaurant on site. We were more than happy to use the kitchen and barbeque facilities. Area attractions include beaches, hiking and biking trails, world class wineries, a desert interpretive center, several golf courses, and a Spa. Osoyoos is described as Canada's only desert climate and "Canada's prettiest little town" and we would agree with both statements. We know other travelers will enjoy their time in this part of the Okanagan valley. Glenn and Susan, Vancouver, BC
