Very central hotel. We were ending our Europe- tour here in München, after 19 days around in Europe with car, before flying back to Norway.

We had a nice stay at the hotel. The best thing is the location close to main pedestrian street and Marienplatz, also to the train station. On the outside the hotel is not so pretty but once inside its OK. Breakfast is excellent and even thought the room was not big for a triple, it had everything as described. My mother was satying at a close 4 star hotel, and there wasn't much diference except she had free internet and air conditioner, but our breakfast was better.

The hotel is near to the main train station and to the most important tourist points of the city. The staff from the reception desk is very sympathetic. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in Germany. The only drawback (that, actually, was not very significant for us but can be for some) is the proximity to some porn cinemas, casinos and sex-shops.

The hotel Wallis is a very good value. Not luxurios, but clean and comfortable. It is within two blocks of a subway station and the tram stops, making getting around the city very easy. The hotel caters to tourists and traveling business men. They offer one of the best and most complete breakfast buffets we have seen.

stayed at Hotel Wallis for one night in April, when I first saw the street where the hotel is situated I thought I had made a huge mistake it looked worse than I had expected. However the hotel is much better on the inside, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the room looked recently renovated and was clean, warm and quiet even though it overlooked the busy street outside. There was also a fan and a flat screen tv. The best thing about this hotel was the breakfast, there was a huge choice of cereal, bread, fresh fruit including strawberries, grapes, melon, pineapple, tomatoes, also cheese, scrambled eggs and much more. I would highly reccomend this hotel even though the street does not look very nice it seems to be perfectly safe.

I went to Hotel Wallis with 3 other friends. We had rooms next to each other which was a plus. The rooms are clean and basic, just what we needed. The free breakfast is a good way to start your day too. The location is very good right near the town centre, although quite near the other side of Munich (strip clubs etc) which didn't bother us at all! I was very impressed and satisfied with my stay here and would recommend it to travellers and a group of lads like us, probably not the best for romantic couples.

Very clean and convenient! Nice breakfast buffet. I would like to choose this hotel again when I visit Munich. However there was a little something construction work without notice when we checked in, and it was loud.. it was only a shame.

We stayed in a triple room which was somewhat small, especially compared to the other hotels we stayed at on this trip. The breakfast (included in price) was great – a wide selection of items. We should have asked for a non-smoking room – ours had a lingering smell of smoke when we first arrived. High-speed wireless internet was available - but not free. The bathroom was a little tight – but spotless. The location was very convenient – close to the train station, subway and street car lines – also within walking distance of most major sightseeing attractions. The Karlstor gate is within a 5 minute walk and Marienplatz is about a 10 minute walk. In general, we were very pleased with our stay.

I thought the Room price was high copared to 4 star Hotels in London. I guess this was related to the fact that the Oktoberfest was in progress

Our arrival was a little bit confusing. The address they gave us was not corresponding to the hotel. So we actually stayed in Praesident Hotel because I guess they were booked. Anyways, is was good size and service. GReat Buffet!! A few blocks from Hofbrahous and pay parking close to the hotel.

we had reserved 3 double rooms. Upon our arrival we were told to go "down the street" to the Presidant Hotel. We went there and it was very hot. We requested a fan(no AC). The clerk said that we would have to wait as he was busy. When asked if he was the only one in the hotel who could help he said yes. We finally got opur fans by my standing at the desk until he got sick of me and got the fans. The lady on the desk the next day was delightful. She was of much help.
