Location is great for easy access to downtown and Safeway store is right around the corner. Pool and Spa being closed made the trip long for the child because he was looking forward to playing in the pool. Continental breakfast is a waste of time, no cereal, no milk, toast was dry.

The young lady at check in was superb. She was helpful, warm, and friendly. The rooms were kind of old and drab, but clean. I would stay here again. It was an older hotel with a slight musty, old building smell, but it was clean and the staff was great!

This is an older motel that has been upgraded - the room was fine and the air conditioning was superb. They built a new building for the breakfast room (free breakfast) ans for the hot tub, suanas and work out room. We were very pleased and the staff in the front office were very personable and friendly.

I was very dissapointed with this motel. My first impression wasn't good - the plantings were all dry and uninviiting and then it gets worse. The only picture advertising the Motel shows a nice clean pool with the 60's style motel in the background. In reality the pool was "green" and closed. The bathroom door in my unit did not close - it was binding and would not come close to shutting all the way. The patio sliding door did not shut all the way either. The ice machine down the hall did not work. The TV remote was missing and I was given a replacement that did not match the TV. Despite all the rooms problems it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Spend a couple bucks more and stay somewhere else.

No frills hotel, I would say 2 stars. Rooms are clean.Location in the edge of downtown which is quite a short walk.

I didn't like the hotel at all. The roof was collapsing on the balcony, the dressers were up against the base board heater and mold in tub. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. The sheets were stained; the dressers were up against the baseboard heater (a major fire hazard.) The balcony roof was collapsing and had sheetrock falling through leaving huge gaping holes that let water onto the balcony. The screen door was broken to the balcony so we had to fight to get in open every time that we went out. The hot tub was closed and the desk clerk said that the hotel was under renovations.

The room was older, but not bad. Parking was cramped and felt like we were in an alley. One reason we chose this motel was for the pool. When we arrived we found out that the pool and jacuzzi were shut down for repairs or some vague reason. Also, the ice machines were not working. When we arrived home I found out our checking account had been debited by the motel. We paid for the reservation in advance and did not incur any extra charges. I phoned the motel and they apologized, saying they had mistakenly charged us for someone elses bill! They reimbursed us within 24 hours, but it was an inexcusable mistake. We do not recommend this motel.

I ended up not staying at the WW Vinyard Inn. The "smoke-free" room reeked of stale tobacco. The derelict pool had no water in it. The Glass sliding doors that gave onto the ground floor were totally insecure looking. The hotel seemed to attract mainly a "biker" clientele and I can only imagine the roar of the Harleys at 3:00 AM. Dismal would be an apt description.

Location. Cleanliness, noise, outdated. This hotel will transport you back to 1950 with outdated furnishings, lack of amenities, and poor cleanliness. Our toilet would not flush without repeated attempts (no water conversation here!). The floor felt dirty and we heard several guest complain during checkout and in the common areas. The TV, alarm clock, and lamps were bolted down like anyone would want these hideous furnishings. No mid-century modern here, just poor, cheap amenities.

The parking outside my door was actually street parking in a questionable neighborhood. The hotel had a courtyard that was unkempt and a slider door that opened to the courtyard that made me uncomfortable. When I found the crack pipe on the headboard of my bed I left without checking out and found another hotel that met my needs. Economy is no trade off for safety. Beware.

Great location. Pillows cont breakfast. Receptionist. Worse ran continental, breakfast ever little choice, helper was intent on rationing out little bit of food. Slim selection of food groups. Pillows way to wimpy. Cobwebs and bugs mainly ants need to be taken care of. sliding glass door did not close completely at top letting cold air in.

This is an older property that appears to have been renovated recently. The hallway was not air conditioned and it was extremely warm. The room was hot and we had to keep the AC on all night. The bed was hard and not particularly comfortable. Still, the location was fantastic and the cost was pretty low for the area. I would consider staying there again.

Inexpensive. Decor was outdated. Good location, but some of the staff was simply space fillers - no passion to serve.

This is a nice hotel well located right downtown. It's quiet and clean. The hotel is old, but well maintained.

Nothing. Old, stained carpet and chairs, dirty toilet seat, noisy, smelly. Not what a 2 star hotel stands for, this should be 0 star. Needs remodeling and should not be rented under 2 star, but as a cheep dirty hotel.

In Walla Walla visiting wineries. A 2-1/2 star hotel. Its certainly not the Hilton but had a great internet price (through Orbitz); clean, great location in downtown; continental breakfast leaves a lot to be desired but still cannot complain given the price of the room. Starbucks 2 blocks away.

Location to Whitman College. Cleanliness, comfort of beds, aged worn furnishings, odor of mustiness, service Indifference. This is the third time we have stayed here in two yrs. Each time the hotel had a different name. Very close to Whitman, across from Safeway. If you plan to stay here, ensure you have a very full, tiring agenda so that when you return to your room you are exhausted and go straight to sleep. The rooms, although not small, smell of mustiness with a hint of years of attempted deodorizing. Beds aged. Table and chairs would be rejected at the thrift stores. Carpet to keep your shoes on. Service employees do not seem to want to be there.

We enjoyed this hotel. We were in town to see family. Lots of stores are within walking distance of this hotel. While it's not fancy, it was WAY nicer than I expected for the price.

There was absolutely nothing I liked at this hotel. What an awful experience! It is 1-star, at best. There are far better choices in Walla Walla, WA, for the same money: La Quinta and Best Western. If you like an old and dirty motel with no maid service (unless you beg them), unadequate customer service, broken heating system in the winter, no internet connection of any kind, and fluctuating water temperature in the shower, this is your choice! Be careful with bidding for 2 star hotels in Walla Walla, as this motel will ruin your stay in this city. We dearly missed the other choices I mentioned above.

It was fine. Nothing outstanding. Nothing bad.
