We had 1 week to visit all and everything Paris had to offer....and that is a lot. We hit all the important areas on my list. We walked a lot, but that is ok, because we ate at many of their wonderful cafes, bistros and brasseries. Saw and learned a lot about Paris and its people and our fellow tourists. Saw the GREAAAAT Bastille Day fireworks...and we thought Milwaukee had a great July 4th waterfront display.

The location of the hotel was excellent for both the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysees. On a quiet back road off from the main stretch. Nearby are a couple of "corner shops" which are reasonably priced. The Hotel itself is very clean and tidy. We were upgraded when we arrived, however I feel that this was only because they charged us an extra 45 euros per night to put a small bed in the room for our daughter, which we were unaware of. The TV in the room is modern, however only receives French channels and two or three English News channels. Room on the small side but very clean. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was in a small room set aside from the reception area, all very fresh and tasy. I certainly wouldn't pay the 480 euros per room per night for this hotel, I am sure there are many other hotels that would offer more for your money, although a pleasant stay, we will not be returning.

The staff was friendly and knows good English, not an easy thing in France, the breakfast was plentiful and tasty as expected. Room was pretty small for American standards but very clean and tidy, a word of warning, the air conditioner needs to be toned down a bit because of the small dimensions of the room the unit blows directly on your back, but the controls are easily accessible and turning off the fan helps a lot. If you don't have anything planned and don't wand to wonder around the staff could provide tickets for Paris tours on different levels of luxury, suitable for every pockets. As we've heard a lot of horror stories about French hotels we were quite wary but it proved to be a very pleasant surprise. I left for the end the most cool feature: LOCATION, is really on walking distance of most interesting places in Paris, there is really no other 4 stars hotel better placed in Paris touristic center. All in all it was one of the factors that helped us have a romantic and unforgettable good little week-end vacation.

Pleasant stay and generally good service however, we were put in Room 2 which is on the ground floor only a few steps away from the Reception Desk, the Room was incredibly small and difficult to move around once our suitcases were moved in. Most of the comments left in the visitors book were positive and commented on nice rooms however we found ours to be very small and also facing the street which meant we were exposed to conversation of people walking past, footsteps and general traffic. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the Hotel was in a great location, an easy walk to main attractions and nearby Cafe's and tour bus locations. Given a bigger room we would probably return to this Hotel but would ask not to be put on the Ground Floor near the 24 Hour Reception desk.

Great location, wonderful service, very clean room, small though, but we were never in the room but to sleep at night... It was a great deal. Thanks Orbitz!

We arrived during on a Thursday during a heat wave. Air conditioning did not work. It took several attempts to get them to look at it, after which they confirmed it was in fact broke. We were told no other rooms were available and that it would be fixed the following day. (Checking online rooms were available) We checked back multple times on Friday to confirm the repair. At the end of the day we were told, "Sorry, he didn't come and they don't work on the weekends. You will just have to wait until Monday and well see if it can be fixed then." The days and nights were in the 70's and after walking around Paris our sweltering room offered us no comfort. That Friday I informed them if it could not be fixed then I was going to find another hotel nearby with air conditioning. (We weren't mad, but we were exhausted and miserable from the heat) The deskman became angry and informed us, "You can do whatever you want but I'm still charging for the length of your reservation." I protested and told the gentleman that I would not pay for the room if we were forced to change hotels. At that point he said, "You have no choice, we scanned your credit card when you checked in. I can charge you right now." We told him we weregoing to make some phone calls and try to straighten things out. When we got back to our room the outside phone service was stopped and he refused to transfer any calls to the room. Thankfully we were able to contact Orbitz and they were able to straighten it out on Monday. The hotel changed our room and offered a letter with an apology and a bottle of champaign and mentioned that they considered the matter closed. The Bellhop and Maid staff were very nice. We noticed the night staff fighting with different guests on seperate occasions. Often times we returned late at night to find the night desk clerk asleep on the couch. Rooms are small but on par with the other hotels in the area. Service in general seemed poor. There is nothing in room to make hot water. We

Even though the room is small, it is clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. During the last night of our stay there was water coming down from the bath room roof. But the staff was responsible enough to upgrade us to a luxurious room, which is superb.
