Nice and quiet hotel with a perfect location and a view to the Eiffel tower from my room. Staff competent and very nice.

This is a small hotel very near the Gare Montparnasse and just across the street form Galleries Lafayette. The lobby is well appointed with new leather sofas and chairs. The staff all spoke English and were very helpful with directions. The Metro for lines 4,6,& 13 are close by, as is the stop for the Air France bus to Orly or Charles De Gaulle airports. The rooms with Air conditioning seem to be on the street side, which is terribly noisy if the window is open, but quiet if closed. The other room we saw only had a fan. The furnishings are old, but attempts have been made to refurbish them. Carpets seemed clean, an easy chair, minibar, and a new flat screen TV made it acceptable. It is in a convenient location, but the actual rooms don't look anything near approaching the photo on the web page.

Great little 3 star hotel. Nice, comfortable lobby area. Quiet rooms considering it's across the street from the Gare Montparnasse. The rooms had working AC, safes in the rooms, the elevator worked, nice flat screen TVs with several english speaking channels. Bathrooms were fully equipped with new soap and fresh towels daily. Very clean. Each room also had a frig with mini-bar. Staff spoke english and were friendly. Beds were comfortable. Did not try breakfast there.

This is a fairly basic hotel, but with airconditioning, in excellent location, and with welcoming staff. The windows are soundproof, but the room walls anf doors are not. The breakfast at E 8 is not worth the money. Some 80 meters in the direction of Gare de Montparnasse is the excellent supermarket INO with bakeries and other ammenities.

Shabby rooms that the photos didn't portray. Not the nicest area but handy to public transport.

This is very pleasant hotel. My room was very small but cozy, and the location of the hotel is really good.

Right around the corner from the train station. In a very busy area but it was quiet at night. Close to good eateries. I wish breakfast was cheaper but I ate elsewhere.

The bedspread must be washed more often, as well as the curtains. They were too much dirty, especially for the price we paid.

We enjoyed our stay but, having booked what was described as a "Chambre Superieure", we found the room to be a lot smaller than expected. The photographs were also misleading in this regard. Having said that, the room was clean and comfortable. We had to request extra bath towels a couple of times as we were only supplied with one and some hand towels. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent as it is only a few yards from the Gard du Montparnasse which is a SNCF, local rail and metro station and also about 100 yards from the Boulevard du Montparnasse. Choice of restaurants, bars and cafes in the area is extensive with cuisine ranging from French and Italian to Tex-Mex to Asian and African. There are also a number of cinemas in the area which show some movies in English. The Financier Bar is next door to the hotel and shows sports on Sky and other British channels. Despite some of the points mentioned above, we would return to this hotel in the future.
