The Waiotemarama Falls Lodge Hokianga is situated along the Hokianga Art Trail, 6 km from the Opononi Wharf (Hokianga Harbour) and 20 minutes from the Waipoua Kauri Forest. The Lodge has no neighbours. The Lodge looks out at hillsides of bush and waterfalls.

The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, ensuite toilet/shower, large closet, dressers, mirror, desk, telephone and chairs. The second bedroom has two single beds, ensuite toilet/shower, large closet, dresser, mirror, table and chair. Two additional single roll away beds are also available.

The Waiotemarama Falls Lodge Hokianga is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, with full kitchen and laundry facilities. Owners live in another house on site but out of sight. Chopped wood is provided for the fireplace. Fresh vegetables are available from the garden. Additional amenities include: Large open-plan living room, dining table, breakfast bar, 2 long couches, satellite TV, library, guitar, games, puzzles, cards, fireplace, full covered veranda and outdoor chairs.

What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast is not on our menu. We supply cereals, fruit, tea, coffee, milo, milk, bread, juice, honey, jam, butter, S&P, cooking oil, etc. Guests have a fully equipped kitchen.
What transport is available to get around?: Primarily one would arrive by car. There are no buses, except a backpacker service during the summer.
What can I do nearby?: There are two hotels along the harbourside that have functions, bands and exhibitions.

Guests receive a complimentary family pass to The Maze at Labyrinth Woodworks, three kilometres away in the Kauri forest by the Waiotemarama Falls. This houses the only Puzzle Museum in the Southern Hemisphere.

Guests can arrange for horsetrekking, sandboarding, hiking, hunting, fishing or scenic harbour charters, outrigger canoeing, shellfish collection, art and music workshops and Maori cultural experiences.

There is a local Hokianga Information Centre (iSite network) in Opononi and a local museum (Historical Society) in Omapere.
Do you have internet?: There is no internet connection in the Lodge. However, guests can use the computer at the office which has broadband internet.
Do you provide parking?: Guests park in front of the front door to the lodge.
