Location
This family friendly hotel lies between La Fortuna de San Carlos and Arenal lake, with a view of the Arenal volcano. It is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday in the mountains and is only 7 km west of the city so that guests may enjoy the beauty of the region to the fullest.
Facilities
Opened in 2005, the hotel comprises a total of 70 rooms of which 4 are disability-friendly. The hotel has a reception desk manned around the clock and a currency exchange facility. Furthermore, guests are offered a TV lounge, Internet access (charges apply) and a laundry service (charges apply). Sustenance is provided in the cafe, the bar and the restaurants.
Rooms
Each hotel has its own terrace, from which guests and their families may enjoy the unique view of the Arenal volcano. During the day, visitors may observe how the volcano spits out pieces of rock and at night may enjoy the bright colours of the eruptions - just like a postcard. All rooms have their own en suite bathroom with hot, running water and a hairdryer. They also feature a direct dial telephone, cable TV, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, a double or king-size bed, a room safe, Internet access and a minibar. The air conditioning is individually adjustable.
Sports/Entertainment
The hotel offers its guests the opportunity to relax in the crystal clear water of its two carefully tended swimming pools (heated) or to indulge themselves in the Jacuzzi overlooking the volcano. Guests are also invited to use the children's paddling area as well as the spa with massage service and spa treatments (charges apply).
Meals
Both exquisite restaurants offer guests a breakfast buffet each morning. Furthermore, the Arenal Restaurant serves gourmet cuisine and the Sura Restaurant has national and international dishes.
