We enjoyed the grounds and the beach of the Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace. The food and drinks were good quality. The room was nice and comfortable. The resort is kind of far and hidden in the middle of no where. No visible signs to get to the resort. We drove out of the resort about 15 miles to visit the Altos de Chavon village (beautiful place)and we had a difficult time finding our way back to the resort. There was a mistake on the reservations and the person that handles the orbitz reservation refused to call Orbitz to request a corrected voucher.The 800# did not work out of the resort, so I spent hours begging them to give me a telephone # so I could call Orbitz to resolve the situation. I called and spent $30.00 on long distance calls. I left with more stress than when I arrived. I will write a complaint letter with all details to the Wyndham President. Other than that we had a good time.

Let me start with the check in the front desk, during my stay it was under staff no enough people to help guests. No reservations available to the restautants, some of the staff member were a little rude. The beds are very hard. Bottom line is this resort shouldn't bed rated as a three stars it should be more like one an a half star.

Awesome beach and hotel. Something for everyone. Staff quiet at first because used to european demands but once we got them to talk to us (carefree Americans), they were at our dinner table and approaching us all the time. It was quite enjoyable to learn about the domincian people. We took a boat ride to the local islands and snokeled. The water was the blueist I have ever seen. The snokeling was ok but have seen more ocean life on other trips. Our daughters went para-sailing and had a blast. They had their hair braided on the beach and the locals did a fabulous job. My husband enjoyed talking to the staff about baseball. Everyone plays baseball there. We would absolutely go again!!!!

They are rules in the Hotel management that can be changed to accommodate the hours of the guests instead of the needs of the Hotel. The swimming pool close at 6:00 pm. Changing the beach towels is from 3 to 6 pm only. The cleaning of the room need more supervision.

The hotel is a good offer for those that enjoys the water sports. Nice pool and nice beach. As many of the all inclusive facilities dinning is average. Location is a challenge, access to the hotel from the La Romana is not friendly at night. The best choice if you are going to the downtown is to travel during the day.

The quality of the beds was very poor. I still have a backache. The bed only had a mattress with no support underneath such as a boxspring.

this hotel was the first experience for me ,my wife recomend me this hotel because she went before and he was very nice. a lot activites for all different taste.you can't not imagine the hotel is full becauce the beach and space are very big. i'm sure for my next vacation a will go again at this hotel.
