My daughter and I only stayed one night since she had a field hockey competition at the Berkeley campus but the hotel was convenient, clean and the front desk clerk was polite at check in and out. Room was small but very comfortable, beds were great. Bath and sink area were new and nice. Only funny/strange thing is that the room had no phone. I have never stayed in a hotel with no phone. I had wanted to call the desk to request another towel and realized the phone wasn't there.

The handicap room was excellent, although I would have liked a room in shower. Great Hrab bars, good lighting, great bed. It was not a fancy room, but everything worked very well. Clean, well placed grab bars in bathroom and tub, comfortable bed, good lighting. I did not walk at all and would have benefited from a roll in shower, but I managed.

We were there to attend our son's graduation from Cal. This hotel location was very handy and the price quite reasonable.

Very clean, convenient to U C Berkeley campus and restaurants. Minor - my room was a dead zone for cell phone because it was under a stairway. Motel about 8 blocks from U C Berkeley campus.
