We were very pleased with Vista Cay. Requested a 2 bedroom with 2 King beds and we were upgraded to a 3 bedroom so we could have the 2 king beds. The room was like looking at a new model. Everything was beautiful. Even though we had to look at other complexes from the porch, we still enjoyed having breakfast and lunch on it. The pool was great and the hot tub was plenty big. The only thing I didn't care for was people didn't obey the rules of no glass or bottles at the pool. Good thing none were broken. And the lounge chairs at the pool need to be replaced due to some were not in good shape.

We were just to the Vista Cay in April of 2009. We had an executive townhouse since we are a family of 5. We had plenty of space (3 floors) to spread out. Master bathroom was very big, so was the master closet. Loved having a full sized washer & dryer. The beds were VERY COMFORTABLE!! TV wDVD player in each bedroom. Living room had a BIG widescreen TV that the kids loved! Playstation attached to the main TV in the living room. Kitchen was very clean and modern. Dining room table seated 6, which was a plus. No real patio or porch to sit on, but the pool area was very spacious and beautifully landscaped. Get there early to claim a lounge chair. BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWEL! WONDERFULLY large hot tub/jacuzzi. The resort is about 1 block back from the main road, so it was very quiet. Great nightly views poolside of the fireworks from SeaWorld! Checkout time is 10am, which is a pain if you have a later flight.

We were upgraded to a 3/2 premium executive suite and it was amazing. Pool and lake views, huge master suite, granite counters, nice balcony, etc. Great stay.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit deemed the Executive. After reading the reviews about the cleaniness and modern units, I was sold. Cons: The ease of the check in process depends on which person checks you in. Seems to be a training issue. We where not given the gate access code when we checked in as well as other important details regarding safety. The unit was not as clean as it should have been. The shower in the master bath had very noticable mildew. The carpet and bedspreads where noticably soiled and the floors needed mopping. Pillow cases where missing from some of the pillows, which I never got when I asked. None of the headboards where bolted to the bed frames, so the headboards banged all nights. The mattresses in the 2nd bedroom appear be old or cheap and the bedframes where not completely put together, so they too clang all night. TV's in the bedrooms where too small for the rooms. Furniture in the unit was cheap. not even hotel quality. Pros: The size of the unit was perfect for a family of four. Setup was very comfortable. The convenience of the kitchen and laundry. Location was great for all attractions and restaurants. I would probably stay again but will consider other options first.

The condo amenities were lacking. Common areas were not well kept, for example there were dust bunnies in the hallway corridors and the tile floors appeared dingy. Bedding was insufficient, it would have been nice to have a spare blanket or two. Since there are several property management groups for the complex, there were no clear lines as to who was responsible for exactly what.

The properties were very clean, upgraded appliances, nice furnishings, nice interior design. Bathrooms were spacious and also clean. My wife and our kids enjoyed our stay very much. Lots of things to do both in and out of the community. We would deffinately stay again, and are considering our options for maybe purchasing a vacation home there. My only negative feedback was the non-stop construction going-on there at the moment, but that was understandable considering the scale of the properties, and all the work being done to improve and expand the existing facilities. The apparments were very sound-proof, and at night, they were very quiet and comfortable.

The Hotel was clean, secure and centrally located to all parks, restaurants and shopping. The rooms were huge the beds comfortable and contained all the comforts of home and more. After a day at the local attractions it was a pleasure to come back too. We could not find anything negative about our stay at this hotel and we recommend Vista Cay to all who wish to enjoy they're stay at Orlando!

The check in was a bit confusing. I stopped at the club house and was given directions to a condo on the property. If you aren't looking closely you will miss it. The check in office looks exactly like all the other units. In fact when I came out there was another family looking for the check in location. Check out was a breeze you just pack your bags and leave. I was not happy about having to check out at 10am. That's a bit early; however we did not leave until 11am and was not charged anything for the extra hour. Once I got to the condo I loved. It was very clean and the decor was beautiful. The only compliant I had about the condo is the beds. The mattresses where hard and uncomfortable. The club house was great the is a internet center you can use that has a printer if you need to print tickets to the park or directions. The the location was perfect centrally located near Publix, Seaworld, Aquatica, Wet & Wild, Universal, and the Airport.

Vista Cay was a great place to stay. Clean, plenty of space, lots of things to do. The clubhouse has a game room and a exercise room. The computer room was free of charge. Nice pool. You will need a car to go around town. Close to great outlet malls. There is still construction around the area. It is not loud at all. Overall we had a great time.

great place for a family vacation. nicely furnished, although the provided computer didn't work. nice to have the laundry facilities. close to seaworld, which is why we chose to stay there. would definitely stay again. would be nice to have towels for the pool and some sort of snack bar/food/beverages available other than the vending machines. also the game room could have a change-making machine. the staff didn't have change and if you didn't have change, you couldn't play the games or use the vending machines.

We went down for February break with our 5 children, ages 8-16 for a week. The facility was new, clean and beautiful. Our suite overlooked the lake and had plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was lovely and we cooked many meals there. We rented a car and were less than 10 mins. from Sea World, Aquatica and Wet & Wild. There is a wonderful walking trail which goes around the lake and the grocery store is in the next complex over. The pool was very enjoyable also. There was also a game room and basketball court which the older children got to use frequently.

Very large condo, especially for the price. Well maintained grounds, large pool, very convenient location to all of the Orlando attractions.

Since we had not been in Florida for over 6 years we decided to go with on line reviews to decide where we would stay. The Vista Clay had the most happy faces. You will not have a very happy face if you decide to stay at this resort!!! Upon arrival we were directed from the club house to a seperate condo in the resort (which we had trouble finding at night). The unit we rented was a nice 3 bedroom/two bath unit. You will have to buy toilet paper, paper towels and soap and shampoo because you are provided with very little of all of the above. Please note that you are charged a seperate cleaning fee of $ for the cleaning that they do when you move out. You are expected to make the beds and clean the sheets and towels. Please be aware that construction on new units is going on so you will hear hammering starting at 7:30 in the morning! The beds in all of the bedrooms were outdated and worn and not very confortable. While this is a gated community I did not fell particularly safe at the Vista Cay. I would not reccommend it for families with small children. I hope you will consider my recommendations to stay away! Thanks

We stayed in a very nice 3 bedroom unit. The place was gorgeous and spacious. The only issues I had were: electronics (plasma TV's, PS2, DVD player, etc) were new but were not set up properly for use (quickly remedied). The site is very close to Seaworld (a couple of minutes to drive but not in walking distance). And it is NOT located on International Drive which is a good thing because traffic is light.

Well - the check in process was a nightmare! You don't check in a a easy location - you go to the "Club House" and then they re-route you to a condo that is on a section of well-lived in condos and expect you to find a Blue & White sign on a garage door - that is the "temporary" check in location. Well , that was a uncessary stressful fight between my husband - driving around this area of shabby looking condos trying to find a place to check in. This took about 20 minutes. After a few irate phone calls from me - we finally got checked in - and found that our condo was no where near the large pool featured on the website. TV's in the rooms were small esp - the bed rooms - maybe 13". Did enjoy having a computer in the the room with what I assume was free internet acess -probably was not and I will get a bill - that will be the frosting on this cake. The room was nice - unsure of why there was ivory carpeting in the room - could see tread areas very easily. I vaccuumed - but the place needed a Rug Doctor by the end of our stay. Had issues with the cooling of the room. They have a large sign above the thermostat stating that you can not set it below 72 F and it was on a timed cycle to be set at 75F. Many times we would get back to the room at night and it was a balmy 75-80 F in the room. Yuck! Did enjoy having a new Publix close by. But be prepared to buy your own paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags and washcloths if you stay

absolutely brilliant exceptional value. 3 bed gr flr condo for 6 of us. bit of a maze to find day 1 but good instructions. central to everything in orlando just behind i drive but an oasis of peace. apt huge and spotless. we did alot of touring shopping and parks so clubhouse was not top of our list. enjoyed it 2 days but a pity that it doesn't have its own restaurant. still supermkts within easy reach. negatives: -smaller bedrooms subject to disturbance by noise from lounge/kitchen. -lack of restaurant on site. positives: -comfortable big central. -very easy shopping nearby. -great cooking/dining in facilities. -very secure. -courteous friendly welcoming staff. -had to vacate early morning but able to leave bags in office as flight was late afternoon.

I booked this hotel after reading lots of glowing reviews. I am not unhappy with the choice, but it was not as good as it could have been. First of all, this is not a traditional hotel. It is more like time-share units. They do not have daily maid service, so it is better for longer stays. In fact, if you stay less than 6 days, they will charge you $75 for a final cleaning fee (you still have to do the daily cleaning yourself). The unit we were in was new, so all the furnishings and appliances appeared brand new. The furnishings were very nice -- a little too modern for our tastes -- but exquisite nonetheless. The room was also very clean, although my wife found a cobweb in the corner while she was doing some stretching before a run. I also found a huge cockroach in the bathroom. It looked like a sewer roach, so it doesn't appear they are breeding within the building. Still, it was a little nasty to deal with first thing in the morning as I was getting into the shower. The amenities are okay but the clubhouse was a long way (like about 2 miles) from our unit, so we didn't use it as much as we might have. The movie theater is a neat idea, but it needs a bigger TV in there. The TV's in the rooms are as big as the one in the theater. The pool in our section was considerably smaller than the main pool. The water was cold for the 70 degree days of early January. But overall, the pool areas were clean and the hot tubs nice and warm. This is a good place if you need a suite for a week or more.
