Located next to historical sites and shopping and dining options, the Vip Executive Suites Eden Lisbon is a four-star facility and the recipient of a 1996 award for urban renovation. The hotel is next to Praca do Rossio and within a short drive of one of the city's major train stations.

This hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Lisbon. The bus from the airport stops outside, the main railway station is just round the corner and there is a furnicular tram about 100m away. The rooms have air conditioning and although the hotel is on a busy street even with the window open the traffic noise did not keep us awake. Some of the older hotels may be more 'romantic' but we found this an ideal base. The roof top terrace affords superb views of the city and there was space to relax there either in the shade or in the sun.

The hotel generally is excellent in a fantastic location, however the rooms/apartments although clean are looking dated & need to be refurshed. Best thing about the hotel though is the roof top pool with great views over the city.

Really well located - on a great square a few minutes walk from the shops and well placed for public transport. The kitchens in the rooms are well equipped and the bathrooms are nice. You can buy milk from the deli opposite - there aren't many late night shops around. At night the building below has some people hanging around outside and by the metro station, but they didn't bother us. As two women travelling alone, we felt very safe there. Staff were pleasant and the roof terrace and pool are great and would be fantastic in the summer. Excellent value for the price on laterooms.

Very nice hotel. The room was actually an apartment with separate bedroom, large bathroom and small kitchen. Had good facilities and iron etc in room which is quite unusual. Very good location.

An interesting hotel close to the centre of Lisbon, and excellently placed for restaurants and shops. Pleasant and quiet.

Small but clean en modern room. Location is perfect next to Bairro Alto elevator and subway. View is perfect: on the sea and castle. Staff in bar (breakfast) not customer friendly, at the lobby pleasant to deal with. Maurice

The rooms were very clean and the kitchen adequetely stocked however they were not really 4* standard. The communal areas of the hotel including the reception, bar and pool areas were excellent although we did try to go for a drink in the bar at 8pm on a Saturday night and it was closed which was disappointing!

Nice hotel to stay in near the city centre. Good breakfast can be obtained at 8.50 euro. Well worth it, even if just for the spectacular view of the castle from the terrace of the last floor.

The location is great and it is nice to have a kitchenette so that not every meal must be at a restaurant. However, the finishes are worn, not everything in the rooms work (e.g. lamps and electrical sockets) and while some of the staff are very professional and accommodating, others are simply rude. Two issues arose during my stay and neither was handled in a professional manner. I would question how this hotel received 4 stars.

There is a run-down feel to the hotel, poorly lit corridors and shabby carpets. The reception staff are not particularly friendly. They do what they are asked but not with great enthusiasm. The roof terrace is wonderful. I did not have the breakfast because another resident told me it was not great.

Very nice terrace with beautiful views and a small swimming pool My apartment for one person was quite small, with a round navy window. the furniture is very basic, the bed was double but it was a tiny double. The bathroom was small, with a small bath. the location is quite good, at Restauradores, a short walk to Rossio
