Located in front of the Vintage Resort is a unique gift shop and the home of Big Bear Gourment Coffee Company. The coffees are roasted, flavored, and blended on the premises of the oldest established coffee store in Big Bear. Browse, sniff the aroma, and enjoy a delectable cup of coffee. Big Bear Gourment Coffee is the only roaster on the hill. They have over 150 flavors always fresh, roasted and flavored on premise.

It was very close to the ski resort. The room was pretty average. The one thing I didn't like was the heating system. The fireplace radiates heat and it takes some time before the room gets warm and the bathroom was so cold. Other than that, everything was okay.

The hotel was nice; more like a motel but clean and pet friendly. They offer breakfast in the morning with coffee, fresh fruit and awesome waffles- which is great before you hit the mountain. The room was big enough not to make us feel crowded with all out snowboard gear and the room had a gas fireplace that kept the room nice and toasty. It's really close to Bear Mountain which is convenient but avoid the restaurant. Go to the sushi place across the street!

Being college students, my boyfriend and I thought this place was wonderful! For the money we spent, it was great. we didn't spend much time in the hotel, seeing how Big Bear is known for its slopes, so we were just happy to have a warm room to come home to. I definitely recommend it!

Stayed one night; negative: old TV doesn't work, took a couple hours to warm up the room (heater was set to the MAX), sink area is in the room, not in the bathroom; positive: great location, big room with double beds, clean, friendly staff

First off, the staff was very friendly. We checked in and out late, and they were very accommodating. However, the bed was very uncomfortable. If I wanted to sleep on a three inch piece of foam I would go to jail. It was one of the worst night's sleep I've had in quite a while.

Room had ants. Room did not have an iron/ironboard. Room was booked for three, only had towels for two. No safe. No amenities - no continental breakfast, no close eating restaurant. No in-room cooler or microwave. The coffee needed a filter - no filters. No creamers in the room. No stirrers in the room. Furniture was old and battered. One light was completely out over the sink. Trash under the sink. No toilet paper on the roll and only one extra toilet paper roll, sitting on the back of the toilet. Went to see other rooms because of being dissatisfied - looked somewhat the same, but smelled horribly like cigarette smoke - kept getting excuses after excuses as to why things were the way they were. Lobby was plain and unprofessional - greeting carpet was filthy! Totally disappointed - would NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!

We reserved a standard room and were upgraded to a one bedroom with jacuzzi and kitchenette. However, the bathroom shower stall was horribly worn out....the linoleum was very dark, dingy and yellow. There were ants in the sink and the refrigerator in the kitchenette did not work. It was 90 degrees in Big Bear and there was no air conditioning only a ceiling fan in the bedroom. The grounds were horrible. There was only dead grass all over. The restaurant and bar were closed and the lake front was mostly muddy (the lake was very low). The dock was broken and wasn't even in the water, it was surrounded by weeds! I would never go back and would never recommend to anyone. The outside of the hotel looked very much like the Bates motel.
