The hotel is in a wonderful Paris neighborhood - working class. There are three grocery stores nearby and a wonderful outdoor market on Fridays. The employees at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Ask for room 603 - it has an incredible view of the Sacred Heart Church. This room doesn't have a hair dryer but one can be bought locally very inexpensively. The only drawback to this room is that it is also located above a local bar and when the windows are open, it can get loud (also entertaining). Once the windows are closed, all sound is blocked out. The hotel is a jewel in the city of Paris. We would stay there again. We stayed for two weeks. The metro is a short walk (about 5 minutes) and is on a central line. We felt safe even late at night. Most of the other guests were European. Oh - the elevator is quite small fitting two adults. While the rooms are small - they are clean and comfortable. We went to see Paris and it was wonderful. Excellent value for the money. It gave us a real taste of what living in Paris would be like.

The room was small and plain but clean. Little street noise with windows closed, some noise from within the hotel: plumbing, doors, etc. The bed was comfortable. The location is far from the attractions of Paris and the neighborhood is not appealing. The breakfast was not very good- supermarket baguette- but there are probably few alternatives in the neighborhood.

I only stayed for a night and i booked out two single rooms. As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist in English, she was obviously able to speak many languages as she spoke Spanish on the phone while we were there. We had everything explained to us and when we asked questions she was able to answer us in detail. Although we only stayed one night, we were well looked after and would definately book there again if we did Paris on a budget.

The hotel is 5mins away walking from metro Crimee. It's great location where can be found tabac, grocery, bakery and restaurant. The hotel's staff is friendly and helpful. They didn't charge cancellation for the first night that i couldn't show up on time at hotel due to the incident in the tunnel between London & Paris. I'm really appreciate that. I'd definitely go back again if i visit Paris next time.

We arrived quite late, and were greeted in a very friendly manner, and was checked in very quickly. The hotel staff spoke english very well and they had directions to all the tourist places to visit. The hotel was very convenient to the Metro, less than a 10 minute walk. The room was small, for three adults, but that was OK as all we did was sleep there, leave for sight seeing in morning and return late evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were very nice and helpfull. The courtyard area was nice to sit and have a coffee in the morning. The rooms were quite basic i.e. bed, wardrobe, en suite toilet, shower (very good shower)and a sink, but for the price it was excelent. Higly recommend for those on a budget and like doing the touristy things. Closest metro is Crimee which is 5 mins away and the Hotel is only a 20/30 min walk to the Gare de Nord aswell.

clean tidy twin room with en-suite. just as described - excellent value. Enjoyed spending the rest of my budget on experiencing Paris itself. Great price for perfectly clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff whose english was 100 times better than my french. Didn't have breakfast at hotel purely as we opted to take our pick of the many of nearby patisseries & cafe's. Clear map to find the place - very easy & near to metro. Also found a swimming pool within 200 metres. Easy on public transport from CDG airport bus route, then coupple fo metro stops - then well placed for whole of city. Would def stay again, clean and great value.

It was a little bit difficult to find at first where the hotel is situated because of lack of name indicated on the front of the building. I was very satisfied with this accomodation although I spent only one night. The receptionist lady was very kind and helpful. This hotel is very near to a metro station (Crimee) and not far from the Sacra Cour.

Tall persons may have trouble with the shower as the cord is short and there is no curtain, so a tall person must crouch down in the tub to shower. The wash basin sink in the bathroom was cracked but only aesthetically unpleasing; it functioned just fine. The room was cleaned each day of our stay and they had it ready for us when we arrived early at 11:45am.
