The Villas at Banyan Bay is an all suite resort located on Ambergris Caye in Belize and just a 15-minute walk along the beach south of the town of San Pedro. Ambergris Caye is a main destination for travelers and the largest island on Belize. San Pedro is the only town on the island. The resort features a full-service restaurant, dive shop, gift shop, and concierge service- all just a mile and a half south of San Pedro. Rico's Bar and Grill at Banyan Bay on the beach, offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also serve tropical drinks and beverages. The large, three-level resort pool is the perfect way to cool off. The property provides full wedding planning services for destination weddings- whether large or small. A family oriented resort; the villas feature two- and three-bedroom accommodations with commanding panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and the Great Belize Barrier Reef. All suites have two-bedrooms and two-baths with a Jacuzzi tub and shower in the master bedroom. Full kitchens include microwaves, coffeemakers, dishes, silverware, etc. All suites feature large verandas overlooking the crystal-clear waters and the reef.

Children under 12 years, one child per parent, stay for free. An extra charge is collected at check-in for anyone aged 12 years or over. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. Check-in time is after 3PM on the day of arrival. Please let us know your arrival information and we will greet you upon arrival at the San Pedro Airstrip or water taxi pier. Check-out time is before 11AM on day of departure. We provide complimentary transport to either the airstrip or the pier. Please contact the resort at 1-866-620-9519 at least 24 hours in advance if you anticipate a late arrival. Guests fly internationally into Belize City and then must schedule a 15-minute flight to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, prior to departing for your trip. This flight can be arranged through Tropic Air 1-800-422-3435 or Maya Island Air 1-800-521-1247. Another option is to take a water taxi to San Pedro information is available at the airport.

What are your breakfast options?: We have a bar/restaurant on-site that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and we can include it at USD$15 per person. Our restaurant starts serving breakfast at 7:00am and ends at 10:00am.
What transport is available to get around?: The main way of transportation here on the island is golf cart and there are several rentals, we are agents to Island Adventures rental, their rates are USD$80 for 24 hour rental and USD$311.25 for one week for a 4-seater golf cart. There are also taxis available that charge USD$6 one way to downtown.
What can I do nearby?: There are several other bars nearby us, and in downtown (about a mile and a half) there are also clubs.
Do you have internet?: We do have Wi-Fi available in the suites, our strongest signal though is by the living room areas.
