This place is a little challenging to get to by car. We did a fair amount of driving off the main highway to get to it and had the help of a GPS and still found it challenging. That is the only con we have for this place. Parking was along the street and felt perfectly safe on the quiet neighborhood street.Once we got there, we were met by a young lady running this B&B business for her father because of her good grasp of English. She is very customer service oriented and treated us like family, being very friendly and accommodating. She provided a pitcher of fresh lemonade squeezed from their own lemon tree fruit upon our arrival and served it out on the patio overlooking the sea. She talked with us and was later joined by her father who is wanting to learn English. She shared aspirations and goals and stories about the community. Later she offered us tea which she prepared and brought to us in our room on a tray with several varieties of crackers. What a treat! In the morning the breakfast was served in her kitchen due to light brief showers at the time. Food was a full meal with breads, cheese, juice, toast, coffee/tea, etc. Then she showed us their garden area and yard. This property has been owned in the family for generations and recently turned into a B&B. The room we had was recently new and was very nice. The bathroom was in the room and private. The shower is a tad small compared to American showers but average for all those we encountered during our trip. This B&B is HIGHLY recommended is you are up to the challenge of finding it via the zig-zagging roads up the steep hill. The view is good overlooking the coast and hillside residence below. The lady running it knows what service is and did a fantastic job in making us feel welcome and like part of her family!! The lemonade and evening tea was a bonus not expected which along with the wonderful service with a friendly smile makes this place an exceptional value.
