we loved our stay at real de faula golf we could falt it, but expect that we had ants in our walk wardrobe and bathroom, there could of dvd and and perhaps and radio and dvd player in room and suits and a kettle with tea, coffee and, a welcome bottle of wine or water would of been nice, but we had fresh towels and robe and slippers.

fabulous hotel would definately go back again. Only two small complaints - no hairdrier in our rooms, and no information on the facilities of the hotel, including the restaurants - some sample menus etc would have been helpful

Excellent hotel - reception service was 1st rate and made a great 1st impression that lasted - only 10 mins in a cab to Benidorm to sample the nightlfe before retreating to this luxury hotel.

Why is it so quiet?This is the second time we have used this resort for our annual golf break and once again the quality of the facilities took our breath away. Several of us regularly play at the Celtic Manor resort which is hosting the 2010 Ryder Cup - well this resort is of a similar standard. So why were there hardly any guests ??? There are two free-form pool complexes , a large heated pool , an indoor pool and spa and a lagoon with man-made beach yet we saw less than 20 other guests using them!! The two golf courses are in excellent condition with the par 72 being of standard of a £50-£60 course in UK and the shorter par 62 being of similar standard although the length makes it a second choice.Several of the restaurants were closed (probably due to paucity of guests) but we ate in Papa Mambo's which was reasonably priced with excellent and helpful staff. This was mirrored throughout the hotel itself although the staff in the golf-club restaurant were a bit unhelpful and surly.Benidorm itself is a 12euro taxi ride away which is perfect if you want a good blow-out (we went every night) but its then lovely to wake up in the tranquility of these surroundings.You will get a 3 or 4 star hotel in Benidorm for half the price but believe me when I say that it is worth every extra penny to stay here. We will be back again next year providing the apparent lack of guests has not affected its ability to stay open.

The bathroom had ants and was a little dirty around the bath, however this is the only negative comment I have about the entire stay - all other aspects were excellent.

Amazing buildings & environment, good service - very friendly & professional. The food was very good as well, breakfast & restaurant. The spa wasn't operational, unfortunately, otherwise everything nice.

The hotel itself was lovely inside and out with fantastic pool areas, rooms were large and clean, however there was some construction still going on and the noise of the digger was annoying.For a 5/4 star hotel the service was indifferent you occasionaly got some pool side service but it was not with a smile ! The most dissapointing thing about the hotel was the food we paid 75 euros (for two) for the evening buffett and it was appauling, the quality and choice was more that of a two star !We also tried the Asian restaurant on site and again the food was ok but nothing special for the rather high price.We went in late June and the place seemed to be very quiet, only one main bar was open and the poolside bar was shut which meant a trek to the main reception when you needed water (be warned its 2 euros a small bottle).
