This place was simply disgusting the rooms were filthy and smelled like stale cigarettes even the non smoking rooms. The staff were rude and never gave us a map or anything. I would advise anyone this: DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE YOU WILL REGRET IT!

There were no towels or coffee in the room. The television was not worth the time and the airconditioning did not work propperly left one day early

I was a little hesitant to book the trip because of some reviews from 2007 and 2008. The price for a Saturday night near Niagara Falls ($55) was too low to pass up and I figured I could rough it if necessary. The next lowest price nearer the Falls was $90. I stayed in the Falls area for Thursday and Friday and wish I had stayed at the Villager Lodge the first two nights and saved money. I was very pleasantly surprised. I can only assume that the owners read the bad reviews from last year and cleaned the place up. The place is a drive-up motel and painted blue and white. It has a nice and very clean pool. The room is standard motel-size. Happily, the sheets were clean, the carpets were clean, the microwave and kitchen were clean and worked well, and the bathroom was immaculate. I will stay there again and would recommend it to family and friends. The motel is but only a 4 minute drive to the Fallsview Casino. I liked the area because it was very quiet at night. When I stay in the Falls tourist area, I get tired of all the noise all night. The Villager is not the lap of luxury, but is really a good room at a great price. There are tons of places to eat and if you have kids, there is lots of miniature golf.

Whenever we make a reservation, I always read reviews but i don't take them into considerations because its always not true.We checked in late at 3am and asked for a non-smoking room, but originally were reserved a smoking. Not only that, they give us non-smoking room, they cleaned non-smoking room for us at 3 in the morning and also offered a extra heater. The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. Motel is very clean, huge room sizes, comfy beds and lots more.We would always go back there and you should too.

We were greeted very well. The room carpets had just been cleaned so that was a bonus. The rooms were very clean and that was appreciated. Overall excellent value for money.

We enjoyed our stay much more than before actually! The service is great and so is the hospitallity. The rooms are clean, wide, cozy and more! The last time we were there we were not very sure if we would ever go back, but the childs liked the pool. So we went back and realised that the hotel went through some major renovation! The hotel didn't look old anymore it was much brighter. The rooms were more modern and so were the washrooms too. Now we can't wait to go back!

Ir really has all you need for staying a night or two. no special extras, but you have your own bath with shower, sink, TV and microwave. Bed was clean and comfi...saff was friendly. but if you wanna have luxus, you better choose another hotel :-)

There was a mold problem over the utility sink. The location was about 2 miles from the falls. There was no free shuttle to the falls as listed on the description of the property. In addition, you had to go to the front desk for ice. In closing, there are so many properties in the Niagara Falls, we will probably book directly when we get there, if we ever go again.

Place to rest your head after being out all day. Pool was very clean, small, and taken care of with one small table and umbrella always occupied, never available. Rooms were overall clean. Ours smelled like someone had taken a bowel movement so we sprayed it down with air freshener (we brought they had none) and it was ok. Bring your own pool towels and Ice!!!! Ice was an issue for everyone like I had been forwarned by Travel agency. Grill was rusty and a gas one they had no gas for (use charcoal). Nice little fridge and microwave with a mini coffee maker (bring your own coffee) and everything. Worked for us & it was ok, better than camping. Won't go back.

I read some of the reviews on this hotel and took my chances. The only problems we had was one of the rooms the air conditioner didn't work very well and not all the rooms received the same tv channels, but we weren't there to watch tv. The people were very helpful with what we needed. Our children are all over 21, but there was a playground for little ones which I thought was nice. There is a nice BBQ area and a nice pool. Coffee in the office , which is what it says in the info for the hotel. It looks just like the photos and we had no problems with noise even being near local bars. We had an enjoyable time. A lot of things to do in the area and not to far to drive. They have a bus pass you can buy for the whole day for about $* or $* . Cheaper than a rental car or driving your own and having to pay to park. We would stay again.

Non-smoking room that stunk of cigarettes and had burn holes in carpet . Air conditioner musty smelling and never completely cooled the room. Bathroom needs work. Clearly, no money made off hotel is being put back into the rooms. First time previous reviews on Travelosity let me down. Really displeased with the Villager Lodge. The Howard Johnson next door (where we had breakfast) is about the same price, but looks to be properly maintained.

"I stayed at this hotel with my husband and 2 kids. I had a great time. The front desk staff was very nice and gave us everything we needed. There was a bbq area, basketball net and a AWSOME pool. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Great price as well and close to downtown."

"front desk staff are unpleasant, no icemaker, ice comes from private freezer and smelled like the freezer, heater does not readily work, no soap in one of the room I book. there are other better AND less expensive choices that this. keep looking..."
