Date of Stay: August, 2008

This Hotel is located in the mid-east side of Whistler village. Neighborhood is quiet and easy to walk to the core of the village and many amenity. But, this Hotel's Stuffs did not hesitate to wait guests(us and others) for a few hours(!) when we chequed into the Hotel even at about 3or4o'clock, and I was so surprised that they kept guest's baggages in a storage with their cleaning equipment! My room was among a drunken lads'group. They made much noise in the midnight. I had to ask front stuffs many times to reprove them. My young daughters could not go to sleep. Next day, we were so sleppy that our holiday was ruined. It's my failure in choice of the Hotel. I hope readers would do wiser choice.

The steps in room are treacherous. Dark bathroom. I was amazed by the room in the Powder Building. If that was the old building I can only imagine what the new rooms looked like. The only drawback that I saw to this room were the slippery, shallow stairs. My five year old fell down the stairs twice. A child safety gate is a necessity if you have little ones. Overall a great experience.

The ceiling fan was caked with dirt, the shelves were dusty, the dishes were dirty, there was dried food and dead bugs in the cabinet shelves. I spent the first few hours cleaning the room and washing dishes. The wall paper was gone behind the toilet, the baseboard tiles had fallen off the wall and the toilet was not securely attached to the floor. It was quite a wobbly ride when you used the toilet. If you want to have a location in the middle of the village and can overlook the filth, this is your place. If I was a college student on spring break, this hotel would be okay and appeared to cater to that crowd. Having been to Whistler before, I know there are better alternatives for near the same price. My advise, look elseware.

This motel was in the beautiful little village of Whistler. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. We only had one night there but would stay there again if we get that way again.

First the good: It's close to the main village and lifts. The Keg is next to the hotel and is very good. Now the bad: There was hair in the bed sheets. The TV remote only works from certain spots in the room. The kitchen light was barely bright enough to cook under. The light in the entry way never worked. Only one elevator, and it's very slow. The hot tub was very dirty. The hotel staff was not friendly, except for the maintenance guy. There is a charge for parking. The room needed a dusting.

Location. Hot water was shut off. When we checked in we were advised that the hot water was being shut off in the morning so that some upgrades could take place. We were also informed that the upgrades had already been completed in other building of the hotel. They declined to find us a room in the other building. I like to take a hot shower in the morning and I really don't think this is too much to ask for. The room appeared to br recently renovated but it was not done well. We had the choice of a Murphy bed or a sofa bed. I would have preferred a real bed.

"We only stayed one night in Whistler, but the Whistler Inn & Suites was totally to our satisfaction. The room was great, with kitchen too! The bath was excellent. We were very suprised to get such a great room, there would have been also sleeping possibility for two more and the price was really ok. So - if with more than two persons and intending to stay more than one night - even better!"

Location was great, near to restaurants and shops. Untidy and very smelly. Our room had a very strong odor of smoke and mildew and was very dark.

For a native Floridian; this was a special trip to see SNOW! That I did see but the quality of the room/hotel for the price I paid was poor. The bathroom walls & ceiling were moldy/mildew. The light fixture looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The location of the hotel is very central & acessible to everything in the village--that was the only plus. During our stay, the elevators were not working. The front office staff did offer to help with your bags to your room. I hope that everything is better by the olympics in 2010.

Fireplace in lobby, lockers for skis or snowboard, additional M & W restrooms in common areas. We were under the impression that there was a hotel gym but the gym was closed for renovations--would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Highly recommended for it's good value, cleanliness, safety, and excellent location! It might not be the Fairmont, but it was a good value and allowed us to spend money on the important things like skiing, eating, drinking, and shopping.

"If you are going to Whister, nomatter what the age or who you are going with, I highly reccomend the Whistler inn. and suites for your hotel.Also the resturant ''The Keg'' is also in the hotel, which is very convienent.Every morning the hotel provides a very tasty free buffet breakfest which includes cinnamon buns, fruits, cereal and other foods.Also the hotel is right in the middle of the village.It is a graet hotel."

Great location and wonderful amenities in and out of the room. Some of the staff could have been friendlier. We stayed in a room with a loft and a kitchen and it was perfect for us! The bathroom was suprisingly beautiful and luxurious looking, and the living room came with a DVD player (rare for hotels). We used the indoor spa and it was very nice with nobody else in it! Overall, our stay here was very nice and the rooms were spacious and of great value!

Great location andfriendly staff. No continental breakfast and no overnight parking for tall vehicles close by. It was what I expected and the location was perfect. Just wish that someone in Whistler had thought that may be people with tall SUV's and trucks would like to visit a mountain ski resort and park inside the hotels parking garages instead of parking six blocks away and having to walk in the freezing cold back and forth from their vehicles.

Good location. Room was run down and not well maintained. Well located in centre of village, room was a suite with a Murphy Bed, kitchenette and hideaway bed. Light bulbs needed to be replaced and light fixture repaired, garbage was left under sink, hideaway bed was stuck and sheets not changed, overall poorly maintained with poor housekeeping. When I advised the front desk they noted the problems and voided parking charge.

Comfortable beds, good location and great price. Coffee never refilled, staff was not too helpful. Decent hotel with a great price. I didn't know there was so much to do in Whistler during the summer. The beds were super comfortable but the walls are a wee bit thin. If you are a very light sleeper it may bother you but it didn't bother us too much as we spent most of the time outside and rafting. Our balcony opened up onto the hot tub which was fantastic! The staff was kind of clueless and the coffee station was always empty and messy though.

Location. The Canadian Rockies. Nothing. This hotel is right in Whistler village and has a million dollar view. Rooms are above average and the hotel staffs are excellent.

Musty odor, poor renovations. This hotel was quite run down. Smell in hallways. Looks like room renovations were rushed and not very well done. Had hotel staff walk in room when we were changing. Not a very good impression.
