the village hotel was a very nice hotel. great facilties in the bar as was very trendy. the staff were very pleasent in the reception area. my only problem was the noise from the corridoors when people were walking past my room. very noisy and not very sound proof. apart from that the hotel is very good value for money.

Very nice as all village hotels are but what spoilt it for me was there is no air conditioning in the rooms and it was very, very hot the night I stayed.

Very enjoyable stayMy wife and I stayed on a Friday evening in June 09. We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is modern with good facilities including an excellent leisure club. The buffet breakfast didn't have the widest choice of any hotel of its class but, what was there was very good. The hotel has ample parking is convenient from junction 25 of the M1 and is 5.5 miles from central Nottingham' It has a number of pubs in the area. Very good value for £59.00 per night.

One night stayVery good quality hotel. Has had some refurbishment since my last stay. Fitness suite looks good and recently upgraded.Menu looks very good but top end of the price range.Bed excellent but room furnishings basic - door missing off cupboard in room stayed in. Shower curtains replaced with screens which is a great improvement.

This was our first time at a village hotel. And was very impressed. We only stopped one night but would use the hotel chain again even for longer stays. We also ate in the resturant and the food quality was excelent. There was also a spa and the treatments were reasonable and very relaxing. All in all a very good experience.

The hotel had no character and the staff had no personaility.. My room overlooked the front and the noise from the bar below was excessive, as was the constant sound of revving engines.

Our stay at Village NottinghamMay we say how very good the staff, accommodation and the facilities were , the only down side was the information held in the hotel of the area, places of interest etc.We will look forward to the next visit to another Village hotel

Great Leisure FacilitiesFirstly it must be said the lesiure facilities were excellent, i was very impressed by the quality of the gym and the pool area. The room was fine for our needs being relatively up to date and the breakfast was good with a range of cereals, hot food and breads. The location is not a problem being a little away from the city (and anyway it doesn't claim to be in the city centre), but great access to the M1. The only dissapointment was the lack of customer service from the receptionists. Saying that a particular member of the staff during breakfast offered great service always bringing tea and coffee overl!!

Great StayThis hotel was excellent - as a frequent Hilton 'stayer' I was looking for similar quality and this was certainly found. The room was modern, clean and had everything which was required. The pool was great and as for the gym, I wish my local gym was as good!

Village Hotel Break. My Husband and I stayed at the Village Hotel for our 1-year wedding anniversary. We decided to go back to the Village, after holding our wedding reception there last year.We decided that we did enjoy the Hotel, but would not go back. It is a nightmare bus journey into the centre of Nottingham for the bars and restaurants. (About 30-40 mins). We enjoyed the room, although the iron and ironing board was awful, I do not know how you are meant to iron your clothes with them as we had two in the end and I could have done a better job by standing on my creased clothes!Food was okay; we had lunch there and a few drinks before we went out into Nottingham for our anniversary meal at night.People are friendly and the hotel always looks in good condition.

Pretty good!Stayed in this local hotel for a night after a water leak in my block of flats. This has to be the all-round best hotel I have stayed in for several years. Probably a bit far out from the town centre for tourists, but there is a good bus service nearby.

A little tatty in general. Gym facilities are good. Staff do the job but don't seem friendly and helpful as you would expect in this chain. Food ok but again not as good as expected.

Good HotelGood hotel close to Boots Support Office in Beeston. The staff are friendly, the hotel is well organised and clean. I'm still not sure if this place deserves 4 stars though - i find the rooms, especially the bathrooms a little tired and some rooms have got internal views and can sometimes get the smell of the kitchen extractors if you open the window. The gym and Pool and Free Wifi are all excellent bonuses to the stay here. Food in restaurant is always of a very high standard, including the breakfasts.
