This is a lovely hotel, the only problem we had was that LateRooms hadn't sent the hotel our booking! So I would advise ringing hotel once you're booked just to confirm they've received booking.Spa is busy in the mornings, bar food is pretty good for the price. I didn't dine in restaurant apart from breakfast which was very acceptable.Good access to town centre (about 3mile away)

Checking in timeOnly bad point was the checking in time; because the hotel was fully booked the night before we were not able to check in until 3pm. I didn't find this to be particularly helpful!

Only stayed for 1 night but wished it had been more. Facilities available were excellent. Breakfast was very good and there was plenty to choose from. Would recommend to friends and would stay there again if in the area.

Execellent accomodation, food good, staff not very friendlyWe found our room was very good and clean and when we went to the restaurant the staff seemed ok but the food was quite expensive. We later in the week we went into the bar for food, the young bar tenders confused our starter as a side and as we found also in the restaurant the staff where not very friendly as we found them in the Village Hull which we had stayed in several times visiting family.

Won't stay againBooked this for a clean room and use of facilities on Sunday before going straight to airport opn Sunday evening. Requested quiet room with extended Sunday stay. Efficient but not friendly welcome. Got quiet room until the Leisure club started a car park dance masterclass and open weekend for potential clients. So, gym busy with promotions and 10am - 1pm on Sunday was loud Dance music nonstop. Breakfast was poor. Tables dirty and cold food. If you didn't like a fry up there wasn't a lot else. Response from reception staff on leaving was that the leisure club just really do their own thing. Paid a lot of money for one night and then had to leave by 12pm because of the non stop noise. Would have refused to pay biut had to get away from noise. If its only once a year then tell me and I won't book or complain. Waste of money.

OK basic place to stayThis hotel is basic but clean and the pool is nice. It's a bit far out of town to be that convenient if you intend to go out in the evening, we had to get taxis. The breakfast was okkkk the food from the buffet was pretty cold and the sausages were raw in the middle. When we pointed this out to a waitress she said "no, they are 'sposed to be like that" and only reluctantly offered to get us some more. The food in the pub was better, they do a good burger and chips.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Village Bournemouth recently and would recommend to our friends. We found staff really welcoming and helpful and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at the hotel.

Great!Great in every Aspect, Lesiure facilites are very good. I probably would not pay the list price of £180 for a room though. I think £100 is more than enough. Food is typical pub style, not amazing but great for that something to eat without having to leave the hotel.

A week end break in BournemouthPlease beaware th Bournmouth caters for the HEN PARTY and STAG NIGHT and on Saturday night the town was full.............. Unfortunately we picked the wrong hotel, Good food but having eaten nowhere to have quiet drink. Nowhere to walk to being ot of town........... Not what we were looking for.

Great for a short break on a budgetI have a special diet and the restaurant staff and kitchen were brilliant. Nice quiet room despite there being several hen/stag/wedding parties staying.Would return.

The twin room was spacious enough to both work and relax in, the room service menu was extensive and my steak flatbread and red wine arrived in 20 minutes, and was delicious! The breakfast was a good quality selection of the standard hot and cold hotel offerings. Unfortunately my sister was too unwell to come down for breakfast, but the staff were brilliant and assisted me in taking some breakfast to the room for her. We didn't try the spa side of things, but spoke to a woman who'd had a thoroughly enjoyable spa break there. We would definitely consider staying here again, for longer, and making more use of the available facilities.

Retired Couple needing some TLC.Our stay at the Village was really good, we loved the Spa and the pool. everything was spotless and the Staff were the best we have had in a long time, only too pleased to help us. even got a Mini fridge for my husbands insulin. The room as a bit bare \" no frills\" and not many channels on the Box, but other than that it was a good deal. Plus point a\" Big Tesco\" just round the corner.

Arrived stressed, left relaxedI'd never heard of village hotels before coming across them via laterooms.com. I was looking for somewhere within 2 hours travel of where we live so that we would be able to get there after work, check in and have not have to worry about looking for somewhere to have dinner. Due to the poor weather forecast I was also looking for a hotel which had added facilities such as a leisure complex (pool, gym, spa type treatments) and wihin reach of a large town/place of interest so that there would be alternatives to do if the sun didn't shine. Village hotel (Bournemouth) provided all that I was looking for and at a price for dinner (first night) and breakfast on both mornings that was almost too good to be true! The hotel was all, and offered all ,it claimed on the web site. The dinner menu was excellent, with enough choices for pescetarians/vegetarians (beware though that you MAY possibly be under the impression thinking that the dinner bill was totally inclusive....it is not...what you actually get is an £18 allowance per person which is DEDUCTED from the final bill...so bear that in mind). The breakfast was excellent too, again with enough to satisfy the vegetarian diet. The hotel we stayed in was quite new, so all was still fresh and fully functional. The room was of a high decorative standard, air conditioned and with a very comfortable bed, the usual T&C making facilities and an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe too. The complimentary paper was left by the door each morning of our stay (2 nights). We both had a very pleasant and relaxing stay there and now we know of the chain, shall preferentially seek them out whenever we take an impromptu, last minute decision to clear off for the weekend.

good facilities, excellent serviceLike their approach of not trying to pile on the charges for wifi. The room was spacious and whilst not the the sort of furniture you would get in the Savoy everything was in good condition and had large LCD tv and proper ironing board plus iron in the room

BreakfastBreakfast on Monday morning was very disappointing.Although served until 9:30am we arrived at 8:45am to find little food left.
