A/C not working , light bulb in the bathroom dead, the room smelled. the ice bucket was dirty. could feel the springs on the matress, just plain awful.

They made up for the last visit which was not good. The cleanliness of the bathroom, curtains did not close, no good housekeeping. This last stay at the hotel was much better than before. They made up for the decrepencies on my second stay. I was pleased this time and will probably use this hotel in the Spring or Summer 09.

Had reservations for 2 nights--Oct.4&5,2008 for activities at Clarence Hollow. The lobby was dusty & had a dismal look. Room was of adequit size but carpet was stained,one chair had what appeared to be grease on the upolstry. The next morning at 7:50 a.m. we had to wake them up to get into lobby for coffee which haden't been made yet. The same procedure was followed the second morning. They made the coffee & brought out the pastry in their pajamas. The reason: it was winter and they don't get up early. I would recomend any other motel in the area over this one.

My family and I travel to Buffalo several times a year. We will not return to this hotel. We were there two nights. The first night we stayed in a room that had a broken refridgerator and a shower with no hot water. Also even though they advertise free internet access, it is only in some of the rooms. We had a room where it was not available. When we tried to check out a day early we were not allowed to because we booked on the internet, even though the room was not what was expected from what we were promised and saw on the internet. We asked for a new room the second night. The front desk was nice enough and did let us switch to a new room. But this room had a bed with a huge sunken center, and the shower had someone else's long black hair on the walls and the shower curtain had a lot of black mold on it.

My sister & I met there. My husband and I had previously stayed here, so I recommended it to my sister. New management is not managing.The curtains were dust laden, no towels on late arrival from airport. No cups or coffee, but a coffeemaker. No microwave or refrigerator as advertised in a room with two beds. The VH used to serve breakfast in the dining room; only a small empty table sits in the lobby now. We stayed two nights, and the black marks on my sheets from the first night were there the next night. We won't be back. They should forget the new carpet they are measuring for, they won't have any guests at the rate they're going. P & B.

This hotel was in close proximity to our destination and restaurant. The lobby had no heat on and I had to wait for several minutes for the desk clerk. The Village Haven Hotel is an attractive and affordable place to stay. The grounds are neat and clean as well as the rooms.
