Location
This hotel is situated in Umbria, a short distance from Perugia and Citta della Pieve and south of Lake Trasimeno. The centre of Panicale is a 15-minute drive away and restaurants are 30 minutes away by car from the hotel. The railway station is 35 minutes away.
Facilities
Here amidst the green of the olive trees, vines and woods, an ancient patrician villa and its centuries-old farmhouses were converted into a luxury hotel in 1989. Since then, under the custody of the owners Filippo and Rosi Iannarone, it has offered its guests charm and tranquillity together with courtesy and distinction. Facilities at this air-conditioned 25-room hotel de charme include a lobby area with a hotel safe, cloakroom and a bar. Further amenities include a restaurant and conference facilities. Room and laundry services are provided for a fee, as is a bike hire service. Guests arriving by car may use the hotel's parking facilities.
Rooms
All of the hotel's rooms offer a high degree of comfort and feature beautiful and traditional fabrics from Montefalco. In-room amenities available to guests include a minibar, safe and an in-room entertainment system by Quadriga with digital TV shown on high-resolution flat screens. A music and video-on-demand system is included as is a radio, hifi, high-speed and wireless Internet access and a telephone with a direct external line. Further facilities include air conditioning and heating units. The bathrooms come with a bathtub or shower, a hairdryer and a magnifying mirror. All rooms are non-smoking and come with a terrace as standard.

There are 2 outdoor swimming pools with sun loungers. Facilities also include a hot tub and a sauna (fees apply to both), and guests can work on their suntans on the sun terrace. How to get there
From the north: Take the autostrada (motorway) A1 heading south in direction of Rome and take the Chiusi Chianciano exit. After the pay toll turn right in the direction of Chiusi. Go straight, passing through Chiusi and after the village turn right in the direction of Citta della Pieve. Shortly after Citta della Pieve, passing the walls of the town on the left-hand side, turn left onto the road SS220 in the direction of Perugia-Tavernelle. Follow the signs for Piegaro and then Tavernelle, continuing to head towards Perugia. Pass the village of Tavernelle and after 1 km turn left towards Colle San Paolo. Go straight on for 4 km until reaching the hotel. From the south: Take the autostrada (motorway) A1 heading north in the direction of Firenze and leave it at the exit for Fabro. After the pay toll, turn left in the direction of Fabro-Scalo. At the first major crossing, turn left in the direction of Monteleone d'Orvieto. At the beginning of Monteleone d'Orvieto turn right in the direction of Perugia/Piegaro. Pass the village of Piegaro and at the T-junction turn right onto the road SS220 in the direction of Tavernelle/Perugia. Pass the village of Tavernelle and after 1 km turn left towards Colle San Paolo. Go straight on for 4 km until reaching the establishment.
