We stayed for a week in September and had a wonderful holiday. The location of the hotel is much nicer on this tree lined boulevard than on the front promenade which can be very noisy. We had a room overlooking the garden which was delightful and very quiet. Access to station and all main areas is excellent with a short stroll to all of them.Staff were great and full of suggestions and even seemed to supply plates, cutlery and glasses for those who wanted to have a snack with their bottle of wine in the garden in the evening.

Very mature couple from Australia, very nice hotel, would be happy to return. We paid extra for a garden room with balcony that made a difference to noise and space. The staff were really helpful, no complaints, good value for Nice in high season

We selected this hotel because it had received a high rating from other guests. Our experience matched that assessment. This was our third visit to Nice and this was our best experience. The staff were especially friendly. The garden is a real asset.

This hotel is very charming hotel. We stay two days.Nice locatin(near by ocean and not so far from the station). All staff were a kind, warm atmosphere. This hotel is brightly and cleanly. It is possible to spend it comfortably even in the room on the Main Street side . Price of rental bicycle is 15 Euro each day.

Our room was amazing. It was enormous and so nicely decorated. We even had a balcony. Our room had wireless internet which was very important to us. We didn't try the breakfast but the restaurant looked very pretty. I only wish we had come to Nice in the summer so we could have taken advantage of the beach that was about a 10 minute walk from the front door of the hotel. I highly recommend Villa Victoria.

If I were visiting Nice again, I would definately return to this hotel. The service was friendly and professional, the rooms clean, spacious and quiet, and the location is 10-15 minutes walk to old town and 5 minutes to ocean. The standout attraction for this hotel was the lovely veranda and garden which made for a very relaxing couple of hours in late afternoon after walking around all day.

We found the breakfast price a bit too high, especially as the service in the breakfast room was lousy. Consequently we only had breakfast twice in the hotel the week we stayed in Nice. Otherwise the service was excellent.

The Victoria is a lovely place to unwind, being well-positioned in a quiet, leafy street, close to promenade and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed breakfasting in the garden. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming.

The hotel is pleasant modern and clean, but the attitude of the staff made our stay exceptional. They were unfailingly welcoming, cheerful and helpful. They also provided us with train schedules, transfers to airport, taxis, etc. Lovely breakfasts in the garden. People do make the difference and we will definitely return.

We stayed in this hotel in may 2007. They said it was walking distance from train which it was a bit of a hike with luggage but down hill and not too bad. Room was large with balcony overlooking garden. Bath room was ok but only had bath tub with shower handle. Breakfast was available but too expensive. Close to restaurants and shops. We ate at la Sucre and the meals were of good price and quality.

We traveled with aerlingus from Ireland. The hotel was great, situated in easy reach of the beach, restraunts bars and shopping. The staff were friendly and helpfull. And the small garden at the rear was lovely, even in March, with orange trees. After we checked out we had a late flight home and the hotel looked after our bags so we could make the most our last day.

There are very few parking places in the hotel. If you want to park your car there you have to pay 10€/24h. The hotel is very nice and very near to all main attractions.

Il rapporto costo camera/costo prima colazione è un po' sproporzionato, ma il servizio offerto è eccellente, abbondante ed in un contesto veramente pregevole.

This must be good value in central Nice. My only suggestion to its management would be to capitalise on its courtyard garden and offer bar service as a really useful amenity.
