The hotel was very comfortable and we had great views of Sacre coeur. It was in the middle of the red light district so it may not be for those with children, however we found it added to the atmophere and it was only 200 yds away from the Moulin Rouge and a few nice restaurants. The metro station is right outside the door which was handy. The rooms themselves were very comfortable and well decorated and the staff helpful

Great location for the hotel with easy access via the metro to the sights of Paris as well as being in the heart of the lively Montmarte district. That is the positive side. The negative side is that the staff were unhelpful and the room cramped and expensive, not great value for money. Our stay there was not bad but if I went to Paris again, I would look to stay elsewhere.

We were there for five nights. The hotel was lovely (we were in the Moulin Rouge suite), the decoration every bit as grandiose and off-the-wall as the pictures suggest! The area surrounding is a little dody, but we had no problems. It's a convenient location, right beside the Metro station. The staff were efficient, but we didn't have much cause to speak to them. We would definitely return!

We were satisfied staying at this hotel for the first time. However, staff is very inexperienced for a 4 star hotel (with exception of Maroccan lady who made up with extra friendliness). In summary: if you can get the full discount the small Villa rooms are acceptable, otherwise it is overpriced. There is no free Internet service available at the hotel but at restaurants nearby.

Stayed 1 night in this hotel and was very disappointed it is tired and run down aircon did not work tv was a hit or miss if it worked and the staff were ok as far as parisiens go but quite abrupt despite me speaking French . If I had paid the full price I would have walked out.

Hotel was very easy to get to, opposite the Metro and two stops away from the Eurostar terminal. Looks nice from the outside although is right in the middle of the red light district, but this is all part of the fun! A couple of nice restuarants opposite too. The hotel was nice, clean, nice atmosphere, lots of red and gold! Very decadent. The reception desk is very small, so is the corridor to it so it's a bit cramped when you're trying to check out. The reception desk was quite often not attended which was annoying when you wanted to speak to someone. There was quite often no one around! The rooms were small. Don't go for a standard room, it's like a cupboard! The deluxe room is nice but still small. Huge bed, small LCD telly, nice balcony, jacuzzi bath although the bathroom didn't look as clean as I'd liked. Ran out of toilet tissue too. Had to go downstairs, wait around for ages, ask for it (the man didn't know what I was talking about as I didn't know the French for toilet tissue!) He took forever to find it and left me standing. He then made me take it up to my room. I would have liked him to have said "go back to your room and I'll bring it up" rather than hand it to me to take it up myself - it is 4 star...Otherwise a really great atmosphere, the staff were friendly, breakfast was good, rooms were tidy, beautifully decorated, well specc'ed, big jacuzzi, lot's of big mirrors but small. I would recommend it if you were after the whole Moulin Rouge thing! My girlfriend absolutely loved the room!

our weekend was not good because of the hotel, the room was very very uncomfortable (the door of the toilet was so near the bed that we could open just about at 45°), little, with wall paper with tears. the worst thing was that when we went to pay, they said that my credit card and my bancomat are unable (i used them before and later and i didn't have problems) so we have to pay cash (the expensive total!) after that we came back from the bancomat point. i think that they don't know the use of credit card and bancomat because at the bancomat point i could take all the money that i wanted, but it's not normal to walk on pigalle with a lot of money to pay the hotel ! and the employees don't want to work and are very rudes. In Italy that hotel could be hardly 3 stars hotel.

Very unique hotel, very sexy and perfect for a romantic weekend away. Breakfast was a bit limited and expensive so wouldn't recommend it. The rooms, bathrooms and public areas are all fabulously designed even if on the small side for a four star. I would definately stay at this hotel again.

We did not see any sign of the legendary rats or mice but thouroghly enjoyed our stay. we found the hotel staff nothing but attentive, friendly and informative and the location of the hotel was perfect for us. Lively area and the mondematre is a beautiful local sight.

This hotel was exactly as described on the web. We could see the metro from our window. The hotel also allowed us to leave our luggage in a dedicated room as our flight home wasn't until 10pm. Excellent no complaints.

Our stay in this hotel was a real catastrophy. The price was a robbery, there was no service,, in the room we had no place to open the armoire. Evrything was so bad that we could'nt imagin that we were in a 4 stars hotel. It was the standard for a bad 2 stars hotel. We hesitate to book by laterooms again.
