From a complete restoration of an ancient Villa in Liberty style is born now Villa Ricordi a pretty and charming Bed and Breakfast, located in a very good position, just 350 mt. from Venezia-mestre railway station. In a very quiet residential area in the centre of Mestre and just 10 min. from Venice downtown, BB Villa Ricordi will be appreciated for its charming rooms, for family ambiance where house owners will be glad to feel guests as friends Our rooms, in a family atmosphere but at the same time charming and refined, are fully equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning with private remote control, colour TV and safe. The house was completely rebuilt on june 2007 and rooms are all new, where refined curtains damasco into a charme of an ancient villa feel guests into a Venetian life-style. To arrive in Venice is very easy, by public bus, available every 10 min 24 h or by train, every 10 min. all day long. Bus stop is just in front of Villa Ricordi, while train station is just 5 min walk (350 mt) . From Mestre railway station trains leave every 10 min. to Venice Santa Lucia from 05:00 in the morning to 01:00 in the night. Bus from and to Venice are available 24 H.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay there. I was a little puzzled at their "twin" room option, this B&B is obviously made with couples in mind. The room was very new and clean, and although the breakfast a little odd for someone coming from England(sweet pastries and cereal), I realise that this is fairly customary in Italy.There was no signage on the outside, apart from a small 'VR' sign, so knowing the address is a must. The proprietors were friendly and helpful.

This B&B isn't in Venice, but in Mestre - out near the train station - which was great for late arrivals and early departures by train. Venice is only 10 minutes on the bus. However I VERY HIGHLY recommend it. It is new and very clean and the ladies that run it are EXTREMELY helpful. Mum didn't speak English, but had all the instructions written in English and helped us find a great local restaurant, Monica spoke great english. They were very accommodating with early breakfast for our early departure. No credit card facilities - so have some cash on hand. Great place

The B&b is well located with a busstop virtually on their doorstep and the train station at short walking distance. I have found my room very comfortable and spotlessly clean and the bathroom was well equipped. While travelling to Mestre I had the misfortune of being robbed but the couple running the Villa Ricordi has been very helpful and managed to make my visit a pleasant experience afterall

The guest house does not accept criedit card,it is cash only as we found out on arrivel to guest house.Apart from that,top marks to this guest house.

Convenient location, just 15 minutes by bus to Venice. Very nice, small B & B. Best feature are the lovely couple who run the place. Monica is sweet and very helpful. We felt at home.
