We has a terrific stay at this first class hotel. A very comfortable and relaxing stay, despite the pig flu scare. The location is unbeatable if you want to explore central PV and the El Romantica zone. We were a 40 - 50 peso ride to the greatest restaurants. It was very quite because the hotel was pretty empty because of the flu thing. We loved it.

Excellent service from friendly staff, ocean view, location. Rooms have mildew smell. AC in the room made high pitch noise non-stop, and sound-proof is not great - can hear neighbor's converstation in middle of night. Called the front desk and they were accommodating and arranged another (better) room. Both rooms have minor mildew smell. Despite these things, I still very much enjoyed the stay. Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, breathtaking view, convenient downtown location. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

This hotel offers so much to do and was very romantic for couples. I enjoyed my trip with my partner and noticed the hotel is very much gay friendly. Upscaled and very clean. If your looking for a place that is quite and no kids around this is the place to go and its very close to downtown where you can go out for dinners and shopping, nite life. Check it out!

If you are going to Puerto Vallarta and you like to spend time in the pool during the day and have good drinks, but at the same time you love to go out at night, visit clubs, restaurants or just walk by the beatiful beachboard... This is the PLACE to be. It is close to everything, but at the same time is hidding away from the noise. It is only a few minutes away from el centro, the malecon so you do not need to take a taxi. From the hotel you can walk in the beach or just relax in the hamacas they have by the ocean. All the rooms have a great view with a privileged balcony, no matter where you are. Rooms are very comfortable and spaced. Great linen, very soft and clean. They have a spa where you can go to the sauna or steam for free! And this is so worth it after a day by the pool. They also have a gym with a variety of brand new machines. But the best part comes here, the people that works at this hotel is great! Service is very high valued. From the front dest, concierge, pool guys, cleaning maid, spa staff... they are very kind, helpful and bilingual, this is very important for your relaxation and have a great vacation. Definetely we will go back.

We had read many of the previous review for the Villa and found them a little hard to believe. After 8 great days there WE ARE BELIEVERS - Value, Comfort, Service and just plan tranquil. If the opportunity arises we will definitely return. NYC area. Oh there was one incident - Housekeeping was a little late (2 hours) in making up the room one day.

My wife and I were in town for a family wedding with folks flying in from Germany, France, the U.S. and within Mexico. We chose the Villa Premiere for it's location to the wedding and other family. We enjoyed our room, service upon check in was excellent. We unfortunately could not enjoy everything the hotel had to offer due to a hectic schedule. Our stay was quite well, our only issue came on our last night, when my parents and an aunt and uncle came by our last night to check out our room. Well as soon as they headed up to our room, we received a call from the front desk that they were not allowed in our room, and we would be subject to a * per person charge!!! We were angered at the notion, they were only coming up for a few minutes to check out the room and say hello, yet the front desk threatened us as if they were going to stay the night. We were unable to find anything within the hotel policies that noted this "fact". This was not mentioned to us when we checked in, which mind you my parents were with us when this happened. Unfortunately due to this last detail we have no plans to ever return to the Villa Premiere.

Our experience at Villa Premiere was great. The staff were friendly and attentive, the accommodations clean and comfortable, as was the hotel in general. The spa at the hotel is lovely, and although the treatments were not the best, the experience was.

Located within easy walking distance of the Malecon and downtown Puerto Vallarta, this lovely hotel has a beautiful open-air (two full sides) lobby that's screened from the street by clever angles and a strategically placed fountain. Once inside the lobby you are in a different world. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, greeting me by name most of the time. Room was a nicely-decorated suite--bedroom, living room, kitchenette (fridge, sink, coffeemaker), and bath with shower/tub and a separate Jacuzzi tub. Lots of plush towels and bath products. Outdoor balcony facing the ocean and sunset. Two pools and a very nice casual restaurant (open air, thatched roof) by the ocean where I had breakfast every day. Terrific food--three restaurants and two bars in total. A mix of Mexican food and other cuisines--both traditional Mexican and contemporary (gourmet) Mexican. Contemporary mariachi musicians in one restaurant one evening. One hour of free Internet access (plus wifi throughout) meant I could easily stay on top of my email. No-kids policy meant the guests were all adults but it was a great mix of ages and family groups. Parents with college-age or adult children, young, middle-aged, and older couples, gay men, etc. Not a feeling of a honeymoon resort--which was great. Only negatives for me were that there was no really good area to sit outside in the shade after the sun rose over the building (noon-1 p.m.) and my room was cleaned REALLY late (3 p.m.) one day. Otherwise a great experience and would definitely recommend.

This was our first experience at an "all inclusive" resort and it was much more than we expected. The staff was very friendly , but always professional and attentive to our needs. The check-in with champagne, a cold towel, and mini-massage was a real treat after our long day of traveling. The room was ready on time, very clean and well appointed with extras ( mini bar, robe and slippers, nicely folded towels, fresh flowers, a plate of treats to eat and even a lighted make-up mirror). We had planned to eat some meals out, but the food was so good we chose to have all our meals here since they were included anyway. We never had trouble geting a chair at the pool, although guests who had been here before said this is not the case when the hotel is full. It was also very nice to have the peace and quiet of no children. The overall experience was excellent and we would deffinately return.

My husband and I stayed at this resort for 5nites/6days for our anniversary. The entire week was so relaxing, they catered to our every need! Originally when arriving to the resort, we found out our room had 2 double beds, no king size beds were available for the room we had requested. After explaining to the staff that it was our anniversary, they upgraded our deluxe room to the suite. No extra charge! All week the staff waited on us hand and foot. On our actual anniversary nite, we first took advantage of the romantic dinner for two on the beach (a must), then the staff had decorated our room with rose petals, candles around the jacuzzi tub, and more rose petals in the bathroom. They had even drawn the bath for us before our arrival. They did all this without us asking for it, no extra charges! I would gladly go back to this resort in a second! Never crowded, always room at one of the 2 restaurants. The pool was nice, not too much, just enough for us adults. Poolside they even have carts full of magazines, books, and tanning oils for your convenience! I highly suggest if coming to this resort to take advantage of the All-inclusive package. Well worth the money. Gourmet foods, all you can drink at the bar and free room service, what more can you want? My husband and I fully plan to come back next year for another relaxing, stress-free week!

I loved this hotel for several reasons. If you are looking for a place to escape it all but also want to distance yourself from the typical spring break party crowd or kids screaming - this is the place for you. Champaign and massages upon check in was so classy after a long flight. We always found pool side chairs and beach chairs even when we showed up around 1:00. We liked that the hotel was a few steps off the beach. This hotel is well worth the price you will pay. we didnt eat at the restraunt (except for poolside snacks which were great) because at nights but took a 5 dollar cab ride to where all the more authentic restraunts were downtown. We would definately stay here again.

The Villa Premiere Hotel and Spa is a wonderful place to go to relax. Just outside of the hustle and bustle of the main downtown area and the Malecon (boardwalk)-- you get the peacefulness of the hotel, beach and ocean, yet you can walk to nearly all of the fabulous restaurants in Puerto Vallarta. The staff is attentive, friendly and wonderful people. We have been going there for over five years now and many of these people have become our PV friends. My husband loves the fact that they also have free wireless internet access.

Everyone at Villa Premiere went out of their way to be nice, housekeeping, front desk, waiters, conceirge, etc. The hotel is in a great location.. we walked almost everywhere as it is just 10 minutes to the boardwalk where all the action is. But, not so close that we ever heard any street noise. It is on a side street off the malecon and all rooms have an ocean view. We had the honeymoon suite, which I think is the same as the premiere room, but with a large patio and a large jet tub. It was perfect. We only ate lunch there twice and it was ok. We didn't get the all-inclusive because we like to eat at different places. The pool area was quiet and relaxing. No loud music like at most other hotels and no kids. It was just what we needed. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I go back.

My Girlfriend and I were planning a VERY last minute get away and somehow stumbled on thei WONDERFUL place. I was extremely extremely pleased. The Staff was GREAT, concierge walked us to our room, showed us around. Got a great welcome massage, the room was INCREDIBLE, views are second to none and overall it was just amazing. I wouldnt reccomend the All-inclusive package unless you plan to stay on the hotel grounds all day. there are some great restaurants and bars a few blocks away. The prices for EVERYTHING is VERY reasonable (50 for 2 people 1hr horseback riding, 40 20 mins parasailing, 150 for dinner for 2 ON THE secluded BEACH with candles right outside the hotel) Overall I would DEFINITELY go back and hope to get back this year. Also we had the spa-suite that came with a free massage and it was incredible as well. Perfect bang for the buck and you will NOT be disappointed one bit.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Premiere. The check-in service was quite a treat with the complementary drinks and massages! Our room was very comfortable - we were worried the aromatherapy might be too strong when we first checked into the room, but the scent quickly dissipated to more pleasing levels. The pool was great and relaxing - especially the covered cabanas with swinging double (or queen?) beds by the pool when you wanted to take a break from the sun! The beach vendors will certainly come by to offer you their wares if you lie on the beach, but they are friendly and will move along if you are not interested (although they will come back time and again in case you change your mind). Free WiFi was also nice. Every day for morning and turndown service, the housekeeper left some towel origami on the bed shaped as some sort of animal. I think we got towels folded in the shapes of dogs, swans, elephants, and armadillos during our stay! The hotel was also very convenient for walking to downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

I cannot begin to explain how this place is just amazing! I went with my parents, brother, and husband to PV and stayed at this hotel. We are all at awe with the service that we received. From the moment that we arrived to the day that we left, we were treated with courteousness and friendliness :) We all loved every moment we stayed in PV especially because of this hotel! We had a free ugrade to a master suite and the jacuzzi and the pillow selections were a great addition to our rooms. We loved staying at the beach because of the cabanas and hammocks. We appreciate the honesty of the personnel in telling us where the best restaurants, clubs, etc were. And the food they served there were just delish! We all can't wait to go back!!!! This place is truly a gem!

One of the best things about this hotel is its size - 80-something rooms so its not as big as a resort but also not as small as a B&B. They upgraded our room to a suite immediately, which was wonderful, and possibly due to it being the rainy season. They greet you with champagne and a cool towel, as well as a 5 minute massage. Love it! The hotel and rooms were immaculate, the pools lovely, and the service impeccable. My only complaints are the overpriced drinks and beach, which of course is not the hotel's fault. This beach is very rocky and you can't swim in it b/c of the tide. That may be partially seasonal as well. You are very close (about 5 or 6 blocks) from the Malecon - the downtown area. That is a must see but I still think I might stay in the hotel zone next time. For me one walk through the Malecon was enough.

This is a treasure of a hotel, the service was great, from the room maids to the concierge and management, we felt pampered and indulged. We had a Master Suite which was beautiful with a great view and the spa tub on the balcony was a great way to watch the fantastic sunsets.The food in all of the restaurants was the best we've ever had in a hotel restaurant. We did the all inclusive and found it to be great value, my husband especially liked not having to take his wallet with him. The pool area is relaxing and we loved that there were always piles of huge towels, as well as books and sun lotions on the poolside carts that were always kept stocked up. Poolside service was fantastic and never obtrusive. The four poster beds on the beach were really luxurious and the beach was always clean and groomed. Our only downer was that the hotel bar had no atmosphere and few people used it, we went to the sister hotel next door which has a really nice pool bar open late, (service there was also exceptional). We will certainly go back and feel that we made friends of the staff and look forward to our next trip. This is a great hotel for couples of any age.
