Villa Olmi Resort

Surrounded by the greenery of the centuries-old park, the luxury Villa Olmi Resort combines the splendor of an old country estate with the simple elegance of rural ambiance. The resort is situated in Bagno a Ripoli, 6km east of the heart of Florence, yet only within 15 minutes by free shuttle bus from the historical centre.

The hotel comprises three historical buildings amidst beautiful gardens and a swimming pool. As well as a stunning setting the hotel also offers traditional Italian cuisine in its gourmet restaurant IL Cavaliere and organizes exclusive in-house cooking courses held by the resorts chef, exploring the tastes of the regional Tuscan cuisine. There is also a wine bar, built in the original cellars of the Villa with stone doorways, original Florentine terra cotta floors and antique furniture, and housing a selection of great Tuscan and Italian wines as well as some foreign labels.

The villa is divided into three buildings : the farm house, the villa and the house of farmers. Three beautiful elegant buildings set in the greenery of the centries-old park of Bagno a Ripoli. The public areas of Villa Olmi are located in the farm house, the heart of the property. The lobby is large in size and furnished in a very elegant and well refined style. The furnishings respects the classic conons of Florentine architecture with wood and Florentine brick ceiling, lime plastering and Impruneta brick fllors.

For relaxation, the resort boasts a heated swimming pool in the garden and a gym. Upon request, guests can also enjoy several personalized services such as a personal shopper, guided tours to museums, in-room wellness/beauty treatments and much more. Parking onsite is also available, as well as a helipad.

Classic rooms are housed in the La Fattoria building. The rooms feature classical Florentine architecture (ceilings in wood and terra cotta, limestone plaster and Impruneta terra cotta floors) and simple elegant furnishing similar to that of aristocratic country homes and enhanced with authentic antiques. Modern amenities include plasma TVs and free Wi-Fi. Rooms also feature luxurious private bathrooms which have been decorated with fine marble and are equipped with Jacuzzi bathtubs.

Junior Suites are 31-50sqm and are housed in the 18th century villa. Characterized by Murano chandeliers, these luxuriously spacious rooms feature original frescoes and genuine antiques. Modern amenities include plasma TVs and free Wi-Fi. Rooms also feature luxurious private bathrooms which have been decorated with fine marble and are equipped with Jacuzzi bathtubs.

The 3 Suites of the resort, The Mirror, the Garlands and the Box are 60-100sqm and are among the finest examples of patrician rural architecture, with original eighteenth century frescoes and stucco of great value.
