Hotel was clean and quiet inside. Outside was a busy Paris boulevard with plenty of cafes restaurants metro.5 minutes from the Port Royal RER station from CDG airport. Took about 40 minutes from the airport on the RER.

First indication of quality was that the '4 stars' in the entrance had been blocked out by a black sheet of fabric... 4->0 stars.. ouch! We had a suite... 4 adults and a baby. There is not enough room in the suite for a crib. Hotel is in a nice convenient area and the price was amazingly cheap. The room seemed poorly maintained.. one of the two doors did not open (the card reader was broken). Looks like someone left a burning hot clothes iron on the carpet. The elevator was malfunctioning and we had to walk up 6 floors (elderly mother included). Thankfully they had it fixed within 1 day. Went through three TV remotes as two were filled with dead batteries... no big deal but again indicates the quality. Breakfast was good enough... the staff there are very nice. Worst of all was that the shower was luke warm at best. Ouch that was a surprise. Would I stay here again... I am tempted by the price but surely these guys can do better.

The location was very convenient, lots of cafe's within walking distance, the metro was a couple of blocks away and it was a quieter neighborhood, which was something we liked. We had a Starbucks across the street, McDonald's a couple of blocks from us. The room is small, we were on winter hours in April so did not have air conditioning. The room was a bit hot in the day but at night very cool with the window's open. Some street noise. The staff was helpful but not overly friendly. We felt very safe in the area.

This hotel needs to be refurnished and then it will be a lot better. When we arrived at the reception the person could not make our magnet keys so we have wait a long time. 2 times the maid came in our room without knocking. In conclusion : For this price do your best !

I think it would be a good place to go if you were looking to explore paris - or if you had kids as the small kitchen means you dont have to go out everynight. I however am a business traveller and so was looking for a good bar and room service - both of which were not present. The hotel was really noisey and i didnt get any slepp before my meeting.

As a single female traveller, I liked that although the hotel was on a ""busy"" street, that section of the block at night became rather quiet, but remained well lit.

I booked a "junior suite" for a family of 4. This was essentially two rooms with an internal door that could be left open. One of the rooms was very small; it also happened to be the one with the double bed. The other room had twin beds for the children. The bathrooms badly need updating. While they were clean enough, the shower barely worked as the shower head was old and crusted with limescale. The bath was also very small. However, the hotel is in a good location near a Metro station and there is a small grocer across the road.

Hotel is located great, at Montparnasse Blvd, next to fine restuarants and central transportation. Metro (Vavin) is 1 minute walk distance. Rooms are small but OK. We stayed at room facing the backyard that was populated by a restaurant, and it was OK, not to load. Nice small breakfast buffet. Good value for money.

This hotel is in a suberb location, all the liveliness of being in the centre of Paris without the Champs Elysee prices. My wife and our tow young children stayed in a "Junior Suite" which was essentially two connecting rooms. Although slightly dated furniture and decor evrything was spotlessly clean, the beds very comfy, and everything worked as it should. As well as minibar there is also a small cooker, kitchen sink and refridgerator which were very handy. Despite the other reviews we did have kitchen utencils! A great hotel for a short sightseeing trip, very handy for the metro and in the centre of all the sights. The staff were friendly and al English speeking, oh and the breakfast was excellent

Room was small, but clean and well equipped (with cooking facilities and fridge, which we hadn't expected). There was enough choice at breakfast to set us up for sightseeing. Easy to find from Metro. Easy walking distance to Luxembourg Gardens and Latin Quarter. Had good time visiting both Catacombs and Montparnasse Cemetery which were both close by - sounds ghoulish, but made a change from cathedrals and art galleries!

The rooms were a little small but the bathroom was an excellent size. This was great for a few days break though. (We did have a twin room) Staff were very kind and helpful and we were able to leave our luggage securely all day with concierge as we had a late flight. Check-in and out was quick and simple which we like. Location was brilliant and I recommend going to Leon for Moules Frites!
