Villa La Palagina

Positioned in a beautiful part of the Chianti Classico region, immersed in a park of century-old trees, this charming finca enables tourists to see how things were in former times - a relaxing environment with breathtaking panoramic views. The centre of Florence is around 20 km from the hotel and the central railway station is approximately 24 km away. Shops can be found within 10 km of the hotel, and Florence Peretola and Galileo Galilei-Pisa Airports are 28 km and 82 km away respectively.

Villa La Palagina is a splendid 16th-century villa which combines its old beauty with the sobriety and elegance of a modern construction. The 25-room villa offers guests use of a hotel safe, bar and restaurant.

The rooms located in the main building are accessed through a beautiful staircase and art nouveau frescoed corridors. Cosy and welcoming, they offer a spectacular view of the Chianti hills on one side and, on the other, overlook the serenity of the park which surrounds the villa. All rooms are equipped with a telephone, satellite TV, safe, some complete with hot tub, air conditioning and minibar/fridge. A king-size bed and en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer also feature in all accommodation units as standard.

From Pisa Airport, follow the green signs to the A 1 motorway, heading towards Roma. Exit at Incisa Valdarno. Turn left towards Figline Valdarno, paying attention to the traffic lights. The first and second set of lights are in the town of Incisa, while the third is in Figline Valdarno, with a supermarket on the left and a petrol station a few metres further along on the right. Before the fourth set of traffic lights, get in the right-hand lane. After about 200 m, turn right onto Road 16 (Strade del Vino Chianti SP 16), heading towards Greve. After 4 or 5 km, the hotel is signposted on the right. Following these signs, turn right and then left. The villa is 2 km further on.
